Flavors that miss their mark?

For the record, I ordered USA made juice from somewhere else last week. Big Mistake. It is weak and just cheap compared to V4L, down to the packaging. Got a new order in to V4L quick. I personally haven't found anyone else that compares. Superior product for sure.

ps. I didn't see anyone come to the defense of Whiskey.LOL.

Whiskey is NOT your typical whiskey... as a matter of fact i don't even think its really a whiskey. Its sweet and tastes nothing like whiskey. HOWEVER~ it is a PERFECT Complement to your favorite Sour Whiskey!!! I Loved vaping whiskey while drinking Gentlemen Jack Daniels. They balance each other out very well between the kick of JD and the sweetness of the cart.

It's funny that you refer to Gentleman Jack as Sour. It is extremely smooth, I'll give you that. But it is definitely too sweet for me. I have tried them all and I prefer a little known brand called Old Granddad. It is 86 proof sippin' whiskey and doesn't have the sickly sweetness of Gentleman or Maker's Mark.

I drink Jack Daniels and Gentlemen Jack. Gentlemen is very smooth yes but when i was referring to a true Sour i was thinking Jack itself.

Yep..cult it is and proud to be a member! But..nobody is being forced to stay, we do because of the product and the service, not to mention the friendship.

We are dealing with a lot of different people to please, all of whom are just getting their tastebuds back. So sure people have differing opinions about flavors and V4L is keeps tweeking the flavors to get them right.

And once again you are right..there are a lot of U.S. made e-liquids. And who has pictures of their factories?..Kitchens..sheds? I am sure they are clean and well kept..the point is: are they regulated.... at all?

Heck I make my own flavors..right at my desk, I live in America , you should buy from ME! Don't mind the cat hair, she is just being friendly and licking the bottle! (JK people..I don't let the animals near the ones that have Nic in them)

I was just thinking about something similar this morning and wasn't aware of this thread ~ since I found it, I must post!

Taste REALLY is very subjective and I was thinking what *might* be helpful, since I noticed a lot of people who like at least one of the same flavors as me, also like more than one of the same flavors as me, and people who do NOT like things I like ~ seem to like things I do not.

Maybe those of us with similar tastes will like similar things.

How about something like this:

Flavors I Really Like:
555
Virginia
Hilton
Ry4
Coconut/Banana (only when mixed with my 555 I don't like them alone)
Doc Pepper

Flavors I DO NOT Like:
Peanut Butter
Butterscotch
Pomegranite
Cranberry
Red Hot Candy
Rasberry

Flavors I HATE:
Grapefruit
Kiwi

Flavors I did not like alone so I mixed them all together and now LOVE the mixture:
Cappuccino
Almond-Choco-Coco
Caramel
Banana
Coconut
555 (I LOVE my 555 alone but in my "experiment" I put in a bottle of that in the mixture so I am including it for accuracy on the overall recipe)

*I tried my Mixing technique with my other "do not like" flavors mentioned above but the grapefruit and kiwi made it all completely unvapeable*

I just ordered a bunch of NEW flavors so I will repost after I get them and try them out ~ a little scared because a bunch of them are mentioned on here as the Yucky ones! (wish I'd found this thread before ordering!)

I don't hate the ICS but I can't say I like it either.

I'm surprised about the "sodas" I agree with you on the Mountain Do - unvapeable and perfumy

Never tried the DP since I don't like actual Dr. Pepper didn't think I'd like vaping it but so many people love it.

As for My Cola - HOW DARE YOU, SIR!

I've only ordered a DIY "sampler pack" from V4L...6x5ml bottles of:

Cappucino - hated it. like licking the side of your truck - road grime with caramel and sugar
Espresso - Same as above, without the caramel and sugar
French Vanila Ice Cream (VG?, I think) - No vanila, no ice cream. Just french, as in "no deodorant, lots of body odor"
Peach Cobbler - This one is like fruit-scented kitty litter (smell AND taste, don't ask).
Green Tea VG - There's something green in here, but it ain't tea. No likey.
Red Cow - OH BOY! Now THERE'S SOMETHING TO LIKE. Actually better than the energy drink (maybe because of the missing sugar and caffeine). Smooth taste, great flavor, decent vapor, very refreshing.

V4L Red Cow is now my go-to vape. I mix it in various menthols, and enjoy it solo. Time to re-up! I've stretched that 5ml bottle as far as I can.

After so-so results with V4L, I got scammed into buying 30ml of that "USA-Made Angel Juice" only to get that horrible metallic, chemical aftertaste. Stuff had me gritting my teeth at full strength. For a while I was using it about 25% as a mixer to tone down some heavy juices, but now I just don't vape it at all. Pure VG vapes better and tastes light years better than that crap.

Sorry I strayed, V4L. You win with Red Cow. But thanks for the (slightly overpriced) empty 5ml mixer bottles!

Now, somebody help me figger out all the menthols...

All mine are 18mg cartos....Flavors I will never vape again: eggnog, pumpkin pie, and red hot candy...just nasty. French vanilla ice cream tastes like a Jelly Belly popcorn bean...love the taste of those, but just kinda yucky to vape. I really disliked the Premium Parliament menthol...it's just too harsh (like an empty carto)...hurt my throat bad.

I have lots of favorites though, one I won't mention as it seems to be a little too darn popular. It really needs to be available for me at all times

All of the Premiums, outside of the Parliament, that I've tried so far I've loved.

A flavor I really wish for is a Mint Green or Black Tea...it would be so yummy!!! Or maybe even a Mint Julep or Mojito flavor. This would be wonderful for summertime.

A couple of you have mentioned Parlament, but be aware that there's a very different version--Parl green--that will hit the premium shelf within a week or so. The sweeter, smoother, richer green has quite a following here--me included--so it may be worth a try. It's one of two flavs that helped me quit cigs a few months back, so I get all choked up when I discuss it.

I believe I traded my Parliament to someone because I can't find it. It was in the tobacco sampler. It was, to my taste buds, truly AWFUL.
But I remember it being a dark color.....dark blue?? Since I discovered the fruits, and my favorite CMF(Classic), I probably won't use any more tobacco flavors in the future. I still have some franch pipe, which I enjoy....very mild.
