So I was doing a lot of reading and looking for some new creams to add to my diy kit and the FlavourArt Vienna Cream has had some pretty good reviews on many of the flavor vendors sites. Also I found a little information about it here on ECF. I made the purchase and I am not sure if I just got a bad batch or what but this stuff absolutely stinks in the bottle. It smells like straight up alcohol. I am a little afraid to use it but is this suppose to be this way?

Don't let the smell in the bottle put you off. Give this flavor a chance. I usually use @ .5 - 1 % with great results. Another member here told me about this flavor and I had the same first impression as you, but luckily I tried it and was glad I did. Start low, even less that .5% if you are leery and work your way up. It is a great addition to many recipes rounding and increasing the "fullness"..... dang -- feel like I'm at a wine tasting!!!!

I'm vaping it this very minute, it's a favorite of mine. I like it plain at 2-3%. If you get a sharp taste at all, you've gone too high. It should be very smooth, rich, creamy vanilla. (1-2% each of Vienna Cream, Vanilla Classic, and Irish Cream is a vaping fantasyland, but I digress...)

I agree you can't judge from smelling the bottle. That's especially true of FA cream and fruit flavors, probably because they're so highly concentrated.

I can think of a few other juices that don't smell to great in the bottle. It is so very easy to over flavor and after doing DIY for a while now, I still have to fight that urge. Somehow it is just ingrained in me that if a little tastes good, then pour it in and it will taste super!!! LOL

I agree with the .5-1% it can really overpower a recipe.
