TFA Pistachio - an ice cream flavor

I got The Flavor Apprentice 'Pistachio clear' flavor, hoping to add it a mixed nuts recipe, but it's not that kind of pistachio. It's not at all the flavor of a nut from the shell, but it IS the scent and flavor of Baskin Robin's pistachio ice cream, the green kind. It's fairly sweet mixed straight (about 10% works for me), and I get a hint of coolness from it that might be a mind-trick. I like it as a single flavor, which I didn't expect. It's even better with some FlavourArt Black Cherry added. Now I need to find a chocolate that plays well, maybe a little cream, and I'll have spumoni ice cream.

If you like pistachio ice cream, you really should try it. You'll love the smell of the bottle, mmm!

I love pistachio ice cream and can barely ever find it in the store anymore it's crazy. Thanks for the tip I should make some of this.

Hey, get a big bottle, and mix some in to (actual) vanilla ice cream, or make a milkshake with it. It's just the right flavor, you'll like it.

I just got vape mail Saturday with (LA)Pistachio along with quite a few other (TFA) Flavors. LorAnn's smells just like what you described. And same as you I got it for a nut mix I'm working on.
