I'm wanting to make homemade e-juice(with no nicotine).
I know I need VG or PG, water, and flavouring.

The flavoring is where I'm not sure what to do. Read a post saying I could just use Clubhouse mint flavourings that are used in baking, but they have oil in them, so don't think they would work for vaping, might wreck the automizer.

Also read you could boil mint leaves in water to make your own flavouring, just not sure how to do this, ratios, etc....

Any recipe ideas, any info would be greatly appreciated.:vapor:
Buying e-juice supplies online is so expensive, and I would prefer to make my own.

Thanks a trillion ahead for any ideas you send me, I'll be sure to pass around to fellow vape's.:vapor:

I'd stay away from any "Clubhouse" grocery store stuff, not strong enough and has a bunch of ingredients in them you don't need to vape.

If you have a Bulk Barn in your area you can just walk in and grab a few of the Lorann flavors.

From what I know just read the ingredient label and stay away from the ones with oils and heavy food coloring in the mix. Just get the ones with artificial flavor, propylene glycol. Colorless is also best.

They sell these (Usually find them by the till) for $2 per 3.7ml and they're strong, only need maybe 5-10% flavoring.

It's what I've done to test out making my own.

I read on the forum some where the ratio for making your own(nic free) juice needs to be 70% VG or PG, 15%water,15% flavouring. I'm planning on the buying the Lorann flavours tomorrow. If 15% of it is too strong for the flavouring, say only need 10%, do I just increase the water percentage then?

I know I probably come across as "the village idiot", just I've never made the juice before, so not really sure how to do it!

I would say only use water if needed for say a juice with a high VG percentage that makes your juice too thick to wick in the equipment your useing . For flavour it depends on the flavour but 10% to 20% depending on your tastes . Steeping the juice for a couple of weeks increases the falvour . A good tool to use is Ejuice me up software from Breaktru.com it is free eJuice Me Up - e-Juice e-Liquid Recipe Calculator

You only need distilled water if you are not using PG(or next to none) in your mix. Water is only to thin a juice that is too thick. The amount of flavor is different for each person. All my mixes have at least 3 different flavors totaling to about 18-24% but I like mine to kick you in the face with taste.

Keep in mind most flavorings are PG base. I use VG only with about 18-24% flavor. VG will give you lots of vapor but decreased flavor (thus my high percentage of flavor)PG will give you good flavor but reduced vapor. +1 on the no h20 unless it's too thick. Go to the DIY section of the forum for a plethora(I just love that word) of information. DIY E-Liquid

If you want to make it easy on yourself, and get the very best selection of flavourings, go see happyvaper...Jack has all the best manufacturers of flavours.

Canadian Source for Electronic Cigarette E Liquid DIY Concentrated Flavourings (LorAnn, Capella, FlavourArt)

Now...if you want to keep it on the "cheap" side...LorAnn's at the Bulk Barn is an option, also believe Michael's carries the Wilton brand, might have some luck with perhaps vanilla's and nut varieties.

Go to www.ezvape.ca alot cheaper plus various sizes.

DIY section, as mentioned earlier will give all the info you need. Flavours that are safe to use and those that you should stay away from. Also various %s to add your flavours and diluting your nic in a proper way. Calculators that make you experiments exact and some recipes are there. Do some research and you will be ok.
