Hi All,

As a life long smoker I only discovered vaping a week ago. What a find!

Bought an Eleaf iStick 20w with Aspire Nautalus Mini. It arrived at work just before lunch time on Tuesday, along with 30ml of Five Pawns Castle Long, and Gambit.

Tried it during lunch and haven't smoke an analog since. Happy days!

The cross over was seamless and painless, I'm amazed and delighted.

I've got a 3 month old son and although I never smoked at home, the guilt of picking him up with smoke permeated clothes and smokers breath was getting too much. I feel so much better with the vaping.

The e-juice from Five Pawns has fantastic flavours and is so much nicer than the cigs I've been hooked on since school dayss., but I wasn't prepared for how quickly real food started to improve in flavour - chocolate and French ham to name but two are now joyous to eat!

I have too say that before researching the new vaping systems a week or so ago, I thought that e-cigs looked like plastic cigerettes and would taste like that fowl nicotine gum I tried years ago in a failed attempt to quit.

The new paraphernalia is awsome, I love the attention to design that has gone into these kits, along with the attention to delivery.

I may still be addicted, but I'm so much happier with the new mistress.

One quick question - I'm British, but work in Malaysia, and have to do regular trips to Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, China, Thailand and Vietnam. Am I going to have issue with airports, airlines, and customs traveling with my kit and juices?

Does anyone have experience frequenting these countries. I'm aware it would be no issue in the US or Europe, but that's not confirmation that these countries don't have specific laws against vaping.

Thanks for the tip and the link Count.

I had a quick skim through, and Singapore is going to be an issue.

I'm off to Indonesia on Tuesday afternoon, so their customs, and the Malaysian customs at KLIA are my most immediate concern.

I've done some google research but nothing on Indonesia, and lots of conflicting reports regarding Malaysia.

I found one article that was about 18months old that said Malaysia had banned all e-juice and made them illegal. Yet I bought my supplies from VapeBrothers here in KL, and read another article by MAS the local carrier saying that all vaping kits must be taken into the cabin and not stowed in the hold - didn't actually mention e-juice though.

Still a little confused.

So I came across a website that provides the current legal status of e-cigs & vaping kit / juice, globally.

Strangely I can't post it here. Is that because I'm a newbie with less than 5 posts?

Anyhow, what it shows is that once you leave Europe, the UK, and the US, who are all reasonably vape friendly, it becomes a legal mine field.

The really challenging bit is understanding the difference between the legal status and how this is actually enforced or otherwise in your destination of choice.

Still it's interesting reading.

Have to say I'm a bit ...... off, as it seems I'll have to leave my kit at home and go back to smoking the Marlboro's for the two days I'm in Indonesia. Shame, as I will be a week off the analogs on Tuesday when I fly.

I'll post the link as soon as I work out how.

It all depends on the country you're travelling to. Singapore will confiscate your gear if they find it as vaping is completely illegal in that country. If you do decide to travel with some vaping gear, take some inexpensive items (such as a couple of cheap ego batteries and cheap clearo's) that won't be earth shatteringly disastrous if it's confiscated.
