You shouldn't say that. Everyone here is always happy to help out. It does take a bit of time to learn how to squonk correctly. Took me about a few weeks (close to a month) to learn it personally. Describe your technique to me and maybe I can tell you where you went wrong.

I like to use the blind squonk technique. I'm sure you read all about it already so, I'll point out some of the most important. It's using LIGHT pressure with pressing the bottle. Also, when I do the dry hit, I pull very gently. Just to get the minimum amount of juice into the atty.

The problem with using an old atty is the performance. Which can be an issue since you might think that there isn't enough juice in there. So, you squonk again and that leads to flooding. Another problem is if the coil/wick is gunked up.

That would make it so that it wouldn't hold as much juice as it would if it was clean (not by much of course). The flavor can also trick you in believing that it's dry. Which is usually marked with a kind of a burnt metallic flavor.

When I prime an atomizer before it's been used. I use 6 drops and let it sit in there for 10 minutes. The purpose of this is to let the mesh and wick get properly saturated.

Have you cleaned your atomizer lately? Also, how old is it exactly if you don't mind me asking?

Apologize for all the questions. It's my method of troubleshooting.

That's true, you would get a very cool vape using a 3ohm atty on a 3.7V unregulated mod. The only problem that I can see at this time is the frequency in which you feed it (what's the threading? 510 or 306).

Generally one squonk is good for 5-8 hits or when you notice that the flavor and vapor has decreased. A slight metallic flavor is a sign that the next hit will be horrible.

Another simple way of running the mod push the bottle until you just see a glimmer of juice in the well. Take a dry hit and your ready to vape . You may want to try a cartomizer until you master the atomizer . Older atomizers tighten up and make running the mod more difficult. I drill out at least one of the air inlet holes on all of my atomizers

every type of atty needs juiced differently. Infact it even differs from atty to atty of the same type. I think this is mostly due to varied amounts of wick within an atty. It can be difficult to get the hang of squonking an atty, but once you have practiced enough you will have no problem. with the 510, the method rob posted above works very well I have found. I always blind squonk now a days though, lightly drawing on the atty while pressing the bottle progressively. When I say progressively I mean starting out lightly pressing and pushing ever so slightly harder until you hear a gurgle then release, give it a second, and draw normally on the atty to get the juice up to the coil. You will get it soon! :D
