I saw another group doing this and thought the idea was cool. Each vaper can add their own placemark. Be cool to see where all the locals (or local'ish like me) are located
Left side of page there is an "Edit" button - Click - Then on the top, left of the map you'll see a placemarker icon appear (and some other icons I don't know what they are). Click the placemarker and then you just place the marker in your desired spot
Took me a bit to figure it out too.
It helps if you zoom in on map enough in your area so you can see where you're marking. First time I placed my mark it was in middle of forest/park ROFL.

Sadly, due to vandalism, this is no longer available to use. Somewhere around June 10/11 - 2012, someone decided to move all of the placemarkers
