Hello Neighbors!!

I moved here about a year and half ago from the Keys. Despite missing living right on the beach.. I like it here.
I live in Bradenton. Lake Manatee State Park.
Now your all thinking.. "she just lives in a camp ground?"
No. My Hubby is the park manager. So if you all ever want to get together I would be happy to host it here at the park.

You guys are making me miss Bradenton lol. OK, not so much Bradenton itself, but our friends that are still there and some of the places we used to go. Wife and I used to work at the outlet mall in Ellenton - I was the Asst Mgr at the Coach store back then. My favorite place to go up there was fishing off the Rod and Reel Pier on Anna Maria Island. Used to out there one or twice a week.
This thread is reminding me of how often we used to move around - St Augustine, Orlando, Bradenton, Cape Coral....and that's just the places we've lived in FL lol

Hey.. You folks to the south are more than welcome to place your dots on the map too! Might help figure out where all the vapers are and where might be good areas to hold meets. More the merrier
Woot! Welcome Viral.. Looks like you're neighbors with SteelRat. I think there will be a meet closer to you next month. When they work out specifics there will be a thread in this section.

Woot! Changed the name of the map to Florida Vapers... Friends to the south adding themselves. Whee! Be cool to see dots all over the map

We have some in Jax, I just can't seem to get any interest in a meet and greet.
Well dagnabbit - poke those vapers with a stick! They don't know what they're missing!!
I remember going to my first meet what seems like eons ago...only a handful of vapers meeting at a coffee shop patio. I drove an hour or so to meet them. I remember my husband and son thinking I was nuts for going...course nuts is normal for me ROFL!! I remember going over the Skyway bridge and thinking "Am I really going to meet a group of strangers I met on the internet? WTF? It did seem nuts but... I have met some really cool vapers and wish that everyone would get to experience at least one meetup. Local ones seem special though as you go month after month and get to know a group of people that you KNOW you have something in common with
