The first juice I tried was RY4 and absolutely loved it! (I had been puffing on pre-filled flavor cartridges and wanted to venture out from there). It was my go to liquid for the first week after I quit smoking. 2 1/2 weeks after my last cig and I can barely puff on it. Interestingly enough while I enjoyed fruity flavors in the first few days after quitting, I could only take a puff from them once an hour at most. This morning all 3 of my big clearos have fruit flavors in them.
I have heard this is all pretty normal for someone who just quit smoking tobacco cigs, my question is about how long does it take for your tastebuds/flavor preferences to settle down? I now have 2 relatively big bottles of RY4 and who knows if I will re-develop a taste for that particular liquid in the future. I've set them aside just in case that happens. Luckily that was my first biggish order other than the 5ml sample bottles that I've been using to try new flavors so not much $$ wasted.
I smoked 1-2 packs/day for the better part of 20 years (my smoking habit largely depended on my stress level). I had quit for a few years when I had my 2 kiddos but picked it up again when my *baby* (who is now almost 17 lol) was about a year so this is the longest I've gone without a cig for almost 16 years.
Don't get my wrong it's great. Flavors are becoming sharper and things taste better, just wondering how long I should wait before ordering anything bigger than 5ml sample sized liquids. In short, when is my tongue gonna settle down
