Fluval - Blue or White

I want to use carts and I want to use this mod. Watched a ton of videos and read a bunch of stuff, one saying that the blue stuff altered the taste of the juice. Which one is the best, where do you get it online, and why is it better? Has anyone experienced a negative effect by using the blue foam?

I have both and hate the Fluval, use the blue foam. Wash it first and let it dry then cut to fit.Never had a bad taste or burning. Use wash rinse repeat.

I use the blue foam on L88b and 510 carts. I picked up what I use at a pet store in San Antonio and have never really looked for it on-line. I wash the blue foam before using and try to remember to wash the cart and filler every night. Keeps everything tasting fresh.

I like the blue foam for the smaller devices just because it's so simple once you get the size correct.

Thanks for the link, I bought huge packs of the blue foam for $4.14 online and I don't mind using scissors. Works great so far.

I bought the "Marineland Rite-Size U" blue filter foam. It says it fits all H.O.T. Magnum Canister Filters. I washed mine and dried it before use, working way better than expected.

The Blue foam most people are referring to is marineland. Some people use different fluval filters.
I use marineland with great success.
