Browsed the forums and haven't seen anyone mention this. I've been using 510 CE2s for a good while now and have been relatively happy with them so when Gotvapes introduced the Fluxomizer Delux Clearomizers I instantly ordered some. However they seem to taint every vape with a plastic taste that I haven't been able to get rid of through dry burning or whatever. I had been using the steel CE2 fluxomizers and so went back to using them but now I see they no longer carry those. I broke out the Fluxomizer Delux Clearomizers and gave them another try but still the same plastic taste :(.

Can anyone recommend another brand or something?

madvapes carries a verson of them made by Bauway I think if you want to try those. I haven't had any issues with the Fluxos. Have you tried messing with the cup seal or just removing it completely and using the flat washer? That's really the only thing I could think of that might be close enough to the coil to give what your describing since the coil is surrounded by a ceramic cup.

I had the same issue with the fluxo's when I first tried them. I did the mod where I removed the lower seal. I just use the middle seal which is put inside with the flat side up. Make sure the middle seal is pushed down far enough. There should be a small gap between the seal and the little rubbery tip. This will prevent any leaking.

Works like a charm with no plastic taste. The plastic taste may be coming from the lower seal being to close to the heating element. That's my idea anyway.

I personally don’t like the Black Seals/Mouth Piece that comes with the Newest CE2’s. Maybe it is all in my mind, but I taste a hint of “Tire” whenever I used them.

Luckily I saved all my Seals/Mouth pieces from the Older Version CE2. Once I replaced the Black Ones with the Clear Seals and White Mouth piece, all the “Tire” taste went away.

If you have some old seals laying around you might try using them instead of the Black Ones.

I use the fluxos only, if I was you I would try cleaning the inside of the fluxo really good, then watch the video on you tube called ce2 mouthpiece mod and try it, this is the way I use mine and have never had any dry hits and no leaks, I have been using this method for over a month and have had great sucess, I hope you try this and it works for you too, Good Luck

ce2 smokey/fluxos are really easy to clean back to 'near new' condition. but like others said the seals can be an issue. check out the gotvapes forum for a ton of info. also there are stainless steel ce2 available (eg healthcabin) which are great also. ce3 is a disappointment, but holding judgment on some of the newer wick alternatives.
