Two smoothies. A Pineapple/Mango and a Razzberry/Apricot. can i have your off the cuff recipe? thanks

Doesn't actually exist, which was sort of my point.
Like watching my mom cook and asking for the recipe... it's more of a process. ;)

Not that I'm against the idea of a general "smoothie" base, as a starting point.
Though I wouldn't concern myself with precision, it's too subjective, and everyone has differing ingredients to work with.

Find some suggested percentages for the dairies you have, consider how much to reduce that because you'll be combining several or because you've developed a feel for their strength. Mix 'em.
The easy part is adding the fruits, again reduced slightly.
How much depends on how I feel about them, or the combo, or how strong I feel they are.

I'll mix damn near anything that seems compatible.
It almost all works. But none is actually disappointing. How could it be? :p

I will say... a lot of would be DIYers need to keep their expectations realistic.

Quite a few beloved retail juices are a very complex mix with an unknown number of subtle, accent notes. That's not only beyond me, most are probably above my palate. I'll get over it. :p

Some however, wonder why they can't get that special 14 ingredient recipe to work.

:D

When I first started I used recipes from here. Once I got comfortable and making juice I actually liked to vaped, I started adding my own flare. After about a dozen juices I noticed I gravitated to certain recipes with the same types of flavoring in each juice I made that I really enjoyed.

Then it occurred to me to make a base out of the flavors I was already adding anyway. This saves me time because then all I need to do is adjust the primary flavoring/s to the base. I take the base and add whatever I fancy to that - be it berries, tobacco flavors - whatever. When that became very successful for me - I started making other bases for variety. Hubs enjoys things I do not and visa versa.

Now I have 4 bases that covers the majority of juice I make. Most of my bases are 3 to 4 flavors though 1 base is 2.

Also - I eyeball it in the beaker when my ejuice-calculator says 23.4ml of my pg/vg/nic base. I use drops straight from the flavoring bottles and pipettes. Syringe when making my 120ml ADV because its 9ml of 2 flavors :D

Other than that - yes, as Jim said - close enough for gov work!

When I started out I used to measure everything, and complained that folks were giving recommended mixes by drops. Then I got some Inawera flavors and tweeked them in using drops per 5ml. I am pretty strictly a tobacco lover so the bulk of my flavorings are Hangsen and Inawera. Generally I'm pretty happy with strait up one flavor mixes, and keep making them up whenever one gets low. I keep 10-15 different flavors on hand, some of the less used ones I make 15ml batches. Some I measure, and some I count drops now.

I have a couple 15 ml bottles that I use to fill my tanks and squonkers with, and here's the funny part. I'll make a blend of different tobacco flavors into them bottles as my mood changes. I'll just fill the bottle with a little No 5, maybe put some Perique nobles in, then maybe some unflavored and shake it all up with my paint stick and a rubber band. lol

Other days it might be some RY4 with a little Turkish or Arabic. I never measure these redi mixes, I just eyeball it like I'm mixing a cocktail.

That's just cruel, man.

:D

Percentage is preferred, but even weight can be back calculated if one wants to use the generic 1 gm/ml or if the entire recipe is provided.

Drops change size dramatically with the temperature of the room. Perhaps by manufacturer as well, though I can't say... I only have FA in dripper caps. And the caps differ as well.
Almost certainly... everyone who uses them gets a feel for the size of the drop each time they mix. It's quite visible. That's a major part of the "in my head" "on the fly" calculations.

I've got the last of one of my smoothies in a tank so it's time to mix some more.
Having opened my freakin' mouth... I'll find some way to screw it up this time. :p

Yep me to I used to always complain when recipe's were given in drops and still do think it's an inaccurate way to measure if your going to want to replicate your recipe. But if folks find it an easy way to mix then who am I to say that's wrong. I use drops myself when flying by the seat of my pants and don't care about duplicating a mix. But when it comes to mixing my ADV's I still use a percent procedure. The most important thing to remember regardless of mixing procedure is to have fun with it and don't over complicate it with sudo science..
