Travel and Vaping flying abroad tomorrow, will my e cig cause problem at the security?

I got the Ego C Twist and Vivi Nova. I'm wondering if I can put it in a carry on bag so I can still vape at the gate and waiting area? It's a international flight so I'm going there 2 hours before departure, it'll be nice to be able to vape while at the gate.

I would hate to put it in checked bags because the flight is 12 hours and that means no vaping for quite a bit.

will the juice (liquid) cause any problem for me?

The only problem I have read about here in the forums was about 6 months ago now. The person had a candy bar next to their pv in the bag, the organic material next to a battery did get the bag checked closer. Other than that I haven't read of any issues.

When I flew I took a disposable, kept it in my pocket and tossed it into the tray with everything else and I kept my larger PV burried in my checked in with my shaving gear.

I fly EVERY week with my PV and have NEVER been questioned on it other than if they see it in the bin as im gathering my things and thats just their curiosity about it.. "is that one of those electic cigarettes?"
