Travel and Vaping Flying today, need advice quickly (Copper tube mod)

Here is a picture of my copper tube mod. I am getting on a plane today (my shuttle to the airport will be here in 30 minutes) and I want to take it with me. ANyoine have any advice regarding this? it uses one 18650 batt and I would only be taking one small drip bottle of juice, since I am driving back tomorrow (flying from BWI Baltimore to Long Island).

I have 2 510 manual batts, but I don't think those will last me the trip back......

I wouldn't take that thing carry on. Maybe in your luggage. DO you have a car charger for the little 510s, by any chance?

Frankly, the TSA is not known for their intelligence, and if I didn't vape, I'd have NO IDEA what that thing is.

probably better to have something that says "e-cig"...a little 510 or something to get you through. It will largely be dependent on the collective IQ/aggression/paranoia level of the goons at security.

I should have mentioned that I am not checking luggage... I guess I will take the 510's

Yeah, unfortunately, to the TSA, that's going to look like the world's smallest pipe bomb, not a personal vaporizer.

If you have a USB charger, you can get phone chargers for your car with a USB slot in them; I have one that came with my Verizon phone, but you can probably buy them.

I have not used the 510's that much, so I never bothered to get a USB charger...

Would it be better if it was fully disassembled?

I don't know what it looks like disaembled, but probably. They could at least see that the individual parts are harmless. Really, it would depend on how stupid/paranoid/bored the TSA is on any given day.

Take it completely apart, put it in a see through ziploc in pieces. Put a card in the bag that says "Personal Vaporizer" They will pull it out and test it for explosive residue, it takes a minute tops and if they find none, they usually send you on your way.
