First of all.....a big THANK YOU for all of the well wishes. My mom is in a hospice house and is mostly sedated, but woke up a couple of times today and my sister said she just lit up when she heard I was on my way. They've increased her meds...doubled actually so I don't know if I'll get to even see her awake, but for now I'm just praying that she hangs on til I get there. No one prepares you for losing your parents....lost my dad 8 years ago....it's tough....so I really appreciate the warm thoughts and prayers....seriously!! Secondly, this is what I ended up doing with the vape gear and liquids. I squeezed the excess air out of the bottle and tightened the caps, wrapped them individually in saran wrap, and lined them all up in my 1 qt. baggie....with a receipt and a card from MBV. I don't anticipate any issues. I wrapped up a couple more bottles and some cigalike gear I'm going to give to a friend in my check in baggage. The batteries, tanks, and fittings, drip tips, etc., are in a baggie in my carry on that I can put in a bin with keys. I have to go through the wand search cuz of my shoulder replacement so I should have plenty of time to explain everything. Hope it goes well. I heard from one of you that Philly is e-cig knowledgeable as I would expect. I fly into Atlanta...hope it goes well there...only have 40 minutes to make my connection to KC. I'll let you all know how it goes...and thank you again....This is such a strange, surreal, heartbreaking time and all of the nice replies really help! :) Oh, and tomorrow is 2 months smoke free for me!! I want to be able to tell my mom. She was so happy that I quit!!!

Thanks!! Yeah, don't know why I was thinking I had to go through security again in Atlanta. I've connected there from Philly many times....Atlanta has been a pretty easy airport to navigate. :)

You shouldn't have any problems with a connecting flight. You don't have to go through security again. Philly used to be my home airport :)

Edit to add: I hope you get there in time!!!! All my thoughts go with you!

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I am flying out of Philly to Kansas City, one stop in Atlanta on Sat. I am going to put several bottles of e-liquid in the quart size baggie. They're labeled so should be fine. I'll disassemble all of the hardware and put it in a tray with keys, etc. The rest of the liquid will get wrapped in individual baggies and put into the large zippered polypro zip cosmetic bag in my luggage. Hope it doesn't leak. I hesitate to wrap each bottle with electrical tap because I think that might look a little sketchy. I'm going to throw a business card from the e-cig company in with the juices. I have to go through the on hands security because of this shoulder replacement so I'll have the opportunity to explain the gear. I'm going to bring the receipts from everything just incase. My mom is in a hospice house as of today....4 years with pancreatic cancer. It's been a long battle for her and all of us. I have no idea how long I will be there but my spouse will drive out if/when she passes and bring my tackle box with the rest of the juices. If ever there was a time to be tempted to smoke again, this would be it. I want to be sure I have all of my gear so I do not smoke! I appreciate all of the feedback....many thanks...or should I say...mini tanks!! :)

Bless you. Your Mom and your whole family will be in my prayers.

I lost my dad to cancer a few years ago. You know what it coming but it doesn't make it any easier. {{HUGS}}
