Focalecig chat...Part 2

Man, you guys were busy after I went to bed last night! I'm kind of ambivalent about ITC. I've only tried a few of their juices with mixed results. Of the ones I've tried I think I liked Heaven's Bounty the best. The Silver RY4 was straight nasty. I still have some Spoonlicker OG - it's not terrible but it's taken me over three months to vape about 10ml out of my 30ml bottle. I just don't like it enough to vape it very often.

My go to budget juice vendor is Open Source Vapor. PG free, 100% organic flavorings, all ingredients listed on the site, great prices, great flavors, and great service. My current faves from OSV are Vanilla Chai, Spicy Peach Mango, and Aphrodite's Sin. It's all made to order so it does take a little steeping time for the flavors to meld.

Anyway...



I love the Hobo and LPG. It's my stealth pocket mod for when I'm dragged along on shopping excursions, lol. Both pieces are super high quality. The SXK Hobo is very nice. I plan on buying an OG Hobo in the next couple of weeks and look forward to comparing them. I'm willing to bet the SXK Hobo is damn near as good as the OG. I'd consider the LPG/Hobo kit one of the best FC purchases I've ever made considering the price point.

Yeah, I am not loving Spoonlicker OG, its not nasty at all, but I wanted some cake batter juice, and this is more like sweet strawberry. I am hoping that with the recommended 2 week steep that it will become what I had hoped for, your feedback is not very encouraging though .. I will give their Lemon Bar and Custard a try, but after that I am out if I don't like those.

I have had on open tab for Open Source for the last week, keep forgetting to go back and analyze their offerings .. I will check out Aphrodite's Sin.

Awesome to hear about the SXK Hobo/LPG .. mine is still unsused, but I agree about the quality of it because I did at least inspect it. SXK usually nails 1:1 replications, their Stingray X clone is nothing short of stunning and impressive. And their Praxis clone is also very nice, the quality is apparent .. its too bad that the first Yosen DNA Zero clones left a stain on their track record, but it appears that they may be redeeming themselves with the Yosen SX.

I am annoyed as hail that the batteries that I ordered from IMRbatteries.com three days ago are still not tracking I ordered these for the new Flask, and I am ...... that they sent me a tracking# for a package that didn't really ship yet. So ......! I will never order from them again

But I feel your pain, my flask was shown as shipped on the 27th still shows nothing on tracking, still says not found, which I know is normal for 48 hours, but not normally this long though, so getting a little concerned, if nothing still showing by Monday, then guess I will contact the useless CS of FT

As far as juice goes, tried a lot of ITC juice, the prices are good, but don't think the juice is anything special, I really like the Heavens Bounty, and others are just ok, Heavens Bounty is the only flavor I have repeatedly ordered from ITC.

I was huge into Nicotockets Creme Brulee for a long time, went through 1000 mils of it over 6 months, but it is another one of Nicotickets juices that really needs a long steep, personally I always let it have a 4-6 weeks steep, and then was really good, I just got burnt out on it in the end.

Been recently trying goodlife vapor and so far been pretty impressed with them, ordered 4 juices from them so far, and only not liked one of them, which is rare for me.

DIYing didn't work out for me, just to much time and hassle, and never made anything special to make it worth while, tried copying other people;s recipes and also tried my own, and nothing was worth it to me.

I will check out Heaven's Bounty description again, I thought it had fruit in it and I am very picky about fruit vapes. Snake oil is Pear, coconut and cream, and I love Pear flavor so I am looking forward to it.

4-6 week steep on Creme Brulee? Oh man I wish I would have read that first, Nikki doesn't have that kind of time. In 4 weeks I will have forgotten that it exists I can do 2 weeks, but 4-6 is a "never again"

I have done really well with DIY, only nasty juice I ever made was Bacon, and it was just nasty, nothing I could do about that. It was like pork and vomit at the same time I am just tired of mixing and reordering supplies and dragging out all of my supplies every time I need to make a new batch ... I want someone else to do the work for me now

I have always been "anti-vendor" juice because I felt my money was much better spent on gear, but now that I have way too much gear I actually don't mind buying juice at the moment. Knowing me this may very well be only a phase

I have it scheduled for March 2nd, and that is with me putting before gear that I have had for well over a month already I would love to get it published sooner, but I am booked unfortunately

Open source looks nice but juice vendors that I have to choose flavor amount drives me crazy. 1, 1.2 etc...what the heck is that. Just confuses me. I want vg good flavor 3mg . I don't know what that equates to in their ratios.

I got my replacement DNA 30 from FC today and it has the exact same issue as the first one they sent. I can take about 5-7 puffs and it tells me "Too Hot". The only difference between this one and the first one are the buttons. The new one has MUCH softer buttons. As in too soft. I'll just make do. It isn't as if Focalecig didn't try to make it right and I have saved a lot of money with them. I can still use it as long as I let it cool off. It doesn't feel warm in the slightest. In fact the box feels cold. It just throws up a too hot reading.

Focalecig service gets a 5/5
Their DNA 30 gets a 2/5

I'll try to find a thread on how to fix these things. Maybe I can get one to work. Other than the too hot message it's a very well built mod. Fit and finish is flawless on both. I only waited so long to order a DNA device because I was hoping they would have the bugs worked out by now.

Yeah but I wanted to be able to test the TP as soon as possible though, and they totally jacked up my schedule. Lightening Vapes shipped my Nickel next day, same as IMRbatteries claim, but they were lying though

Now I feel like I need to order yet another pair from another source to be safe, who knows when these jackholes will actually put my order in the mail ... its been 3 days already.

Now you ... it is totally not normal for your package to not show after 48 hours, so if you don't see something by Sunday, contact FT CS as Sunday night is their Monday Morning.

I wonder if they have switched suppliers. The KSD Hana clone I bought (my first FC purchase many monies ago!) was absolutely awesome. I actually still regret getting rid of it. It was a great mod.

I just loaded up another tank of Coval Vapes PBB cream, I think you would like it. I don't get much banana at all, just creamy peanut butter. The flavor is nice and balanced, not too strong, but undeniably peanut butter, and very smooth.

I wonder if they have switched suppliers. The KSD Hana clone I bought (my first FC purchase many monies ago!) was absolutely awesome. I actually still regret getting rid of it. It was a great mod.

Mine is great, had a problem with the rubber gasket breaking under the 510 pin, in the 1st month I had, stuck a oring under the 510 pin and never given me any problems, and it's had some abuse since I got it, if it wasn't for the delay firing and pointed buttons, I would love the thing.

Hun I don't think you should try to make due with something that just ain't right. Your money is worth more than that ... I say return that one too and exchange it for a completely different device with similar capabilities. Perhaps the SMOK M22? It has a few less watts, but its a better brand and it has mech mode

Or maybe something else, but I don't think you should be stuck with something that just ain't working right.

It is good but just not my thing. Very sweet and folks love it!! I will be glad to send you some to at least taste if you want. I will have to rinse out a small bottle of something else though to put it in, which is fine but it seems I can never ever get all the smell out of a bottle to put different juice in. I am glad to do that, just give me a shout.
i love their orange blossom and apple pie moonshine from their nebbia line which is their max vg. Those are two of my favs. Been a GLV fan from the beginning. Nanas nuts is awesome but it is 50/50 and I just can't do that anymore. Their smuckers and nerdy girl from their seduction line is pretty good too if you like fruity vapes, they are higher VG. Sandy loves those. I am more of a sweet custardy vape myself. I you like custards you have to try lion by illuminati, my all time fav. I just discovered their veritas liquid....that is some good stuff too. Blueberry lemon custard of sorts.
