Actually, Nikki is probably blaming me, too . I was trying to find a 23mm mech for my Eviva, and Portertown told me about the sale. Then I told Nikki.

Oh I am for sure blaming you girlfriend .. I got your pm at around 3am last Sunday, I cried on my Sofa because I really SHOULD NOT buy it, yet this is the ONE high end mechanical that I have always loved and admired for all its beauty .. two hours and many tears later I checked out on it (5am).

But I am thanking you also because in the end I am really happy that I did it .. the deal was too good to pass up, and I am not disappointed. I am sincere when I say that the original and classic high end mechs like the Poldiac poop all over most of these ordinary, stupidly named "wannabe high end" mechs of today.

The only reason that the Poldiac is not being flipped for $1000 today is because it has remained accessible two years after it was first released. If MMV had stopped producing it I am certain its flip rate would exceed the Caravela, because the Poldiac is far more innovative and complex in its design ... what other mechanical offers different clothes? What other mechanical is more beautiful than the Poldiac?

Well you made a good choice, on a classic and innovative mechanical mod dear. And its phenomenal deal as well as there are US vendors still selling a single battery configuration for $235 plus .. Did you get the MiriamWTH or the Cloud Wizard? One has a slotted shirt (CW) and the Miriam does not.

My next MMV score will be the Special Edition Rope clothes, but I will need to sell a Kidney first because it cost twice what the Poldiac did But it is sensational and I must have it. A small part of me regrets getting the two Paps V3's instead of the Clothes ..

You shouldn't have any regrets ordering the PAPS V3, IMO. My PAPS V3 has the best switch of any mech I've owned so far. It is sublime. If you aren't feeling them once you receive them, let me know. I'll gladly take at least one of them off your hands.

Scott Igetcha said he thought the V2.5 switch was better than the V3 switch, but Paps is known for their great switches so I am not really worried about it. I already have a Lux v2.5 clone and the switch is just like I have heard the authentic described, so I figure the authentic cannot be worse then a clone switch so I am sure I will love it.

Yup, just need to buy the brass pants and shirt, and the brass clothes are cheaper than the SS clothes .. There is a coupon code you can use for the clothes if you decide to get it before Feb 27th when the coupon expires too. Can't use coupons on the Poldiac sale though

The coupon code is the other reason I slightly regret not getting the pimp Rope clothes which are 160 Euros, but 144 Euros with coupon. Fed Ex shipping is really fast so you should see your Poldy by Wednesday ... I suggest taking your switch apart and cleaning it when you receive it .. which I didn't do

It was this or Dimitri. But I don't really cloud chase anymore so I decided on the Poldiac. Wil look nice with the Origens I have. Nice brushed finished on both.

I know bro. Super T is only 45 min drive from me. They do have 2 Workhorses in stock as of right now. So tempted to get another. But just got the Poldiac.

But Workhorse will be a good collection cuz they are out of the game.

I agree, the Poldy looks great with an Origen .. You can cloud chase with the Poldiac if you want because it has all the upgraded insulators for sub ohming That is another reason why this was a great time to buy a Poldiac, you are getting the best version of it, not to mention all the tube and pants for battery sizes.

This was for sure a better choice than the Dimitri .. the Poldiac has history, and innovation that has yet to be out done by another mechanical design. The Dimitri will be out of style in a few months, the Poldiac will never be out of style. It holds up against everything presently on the market. That is why my Porn was irresistible

Ok I need some opinions .. so, I have the Paps Lux coming, and I want the aluminium bronze to look new forever, no patina, no smudging, just brand new. Would it be awful it I clear coated my brand new Lux tube?

I know Jwraps has clear wraps for the Lux 2.5, but they don't have them listed for the V3 ... and their clears wraps are $13.50, a can of Rustoleum clear coat is $4 bucks
