Ok so Doris said "Please send me your Lucky Money code and the screenshot of the lucky money on your account." How do I find if I actually have one? I have the email where it says "click here to get your lucky money" which never worked for me when I clicked it during the event. I don't think I can send such screenshots? I am so confused. >_<

Fastest I have received an order from FC was 17 days but note that I use the free shipping w/o any embellishments. I don't know why the two little attys ($1.80 each for mini Protanks) took 54 days but it is what it is. FWIW they were part of a sale or promotion of some sort, don't recall the details.

Lucky money was a bust for me. Never got an email back after registering my Hotmail addy. No biggie but it was offputting at the time.

Steelshade, I'm not sure. If I don't use mine, I'll give you my code, but not sure that will work.

Thank you for the kind offer! I am still trying to get my own code. I have sent an email with a screenshot of the email with the non-working link and circled the link in red. At this point I'm not expecting a positive response. Not sure I would be comfortable ordering a higher-ticket item if I can't be sure that customer support is for real.

Customer support is real (and Doris will clean up any mess Eleven leaves behind), but places like FC and FT do tend to get a little stingy with discounts, even if it was from a failed promotion. You should read some of my FT tickets. It's like shopping at the flea market or buying a used car!

My fastest shipment was 6 days, 2 days faster than FT (I raced them once).

Hi, everybody!

In October of 2014 I bought a "Hanaa Modz DNA 30 style mod" from FC. It has given me no problems and I use it every day. I recently was trying out a modification I did to an atomizer so I cranked up the watts. That's when it registered to me that it was showing 35 watts on the screen instead of 30 like the specs call for. No mention of this in the reviews on the FC page I linked to, nor anywhere else I looked. Odd.

I don't see a DNA clone that looks like mine that is 35w, the 35w I did read about from FC has a large fire button that lights up(?), mine is just as shown in the link. I guess it could be a 35w chip got mixed in w/the 30s. No mention I can find of this happening to anyone else. 5w "extra" means very little but I just thought this was weird enough to mention. It behaves exactly like everyone else has described their 30w works, same sleep, slight delay to fire from sleep, no screen dim before sleep, etc.

ETA, the power setting round robins but it stops when it reaches 7w, it takes another click for it to jump to 35w. It does the same when going from 35w to 7w. That I don't recall anyone mentioning with a 30w, but that could be because it's just not important. I wonder if the 30s do the same, though.

Hey Colbalt,

Just checked the one I got from FC during one of the group buys they ran some time ago, it does not go above 30w, it also won't round robin. If you ever take the cover off the board it would be interesting to know if there is any info stamped on it that would identify it. Interesting for sure.

I'll do just that next time I sit down to do maintenance. Now I remember (thanks for reminding me)- my DNA 30 clone was a group buy, heard about it at VU. We had talked about getting these late last year. The VU link is blocked by this site, but I'll ask there to see if anyone else got one.
