im with you on the regulated modseven got a good collection of TC mods now (4) like you I have always been interested in checking out a bottom feeder but just never did... cost I guess. I like the look of the flask BF but, I already have a flask, two actually
I am loving my flask, finish is holding up great and no chip problems, right now it is my no.1 mod, if like this cheap bottom feeder, then will be real tempted by a flask bottom feeder.
When my IPV4 comes out of the USPS black hole and get the mini flask, will have 3 TC mods, but admit, I have not tried TC and not really interested in it really, but may try it some time in the future, so still good to have mods that will do TC.

I have to ask her about the R and L thing, but she is really immersed in her Spanese studies. So I did something that I almost never do, I built and used the Smok Owl as soon as I got it .. was dying of curiosity.
Being that I am reviewing this I don't want to say too much after only one day of use, but .. This is a good little "trial" bottom feeder to see if you like this style of vaping.
The box itself is as I thought it would be, which is a bit plastic-y. Its supposed to Delrin but feels like straight up plastic .. but it works. I wished they would have used aluminum to construct this box, then it would be worth $39 .. as it is this box should not cost more than $25 IMO.
The atty is quite nice though, and the best part of this set up .. solid stainless steel construction, well machined deck. The e-liquid feeds out of the top of the Positive, not from the bottom of it though. While it is a 4 post design, due to the set up of the air holes I don't think this atty should be used for anything other than dual coil set ups .. air holes placement is wrong for Quads.
The switch throw could stand to be shorter, not sure if it can be modded to shorten it. You have to fully depress that button, which does have some resistance to it, in order to get a nice hit.
So again, as a trial or beater bottom feeder, I think its perfect to meet that end.
Also got the Dos Equis clone for review as well .. seems nice, but I haven't used it yet.

You should check out the gdeal peko and gdna bottom feeders. There 3d printed kits

Aeolus and Armomamizer (listed as "Steam Crave Style RDA") clones are new today. I'm intrigued by the latter's design, but have doubts that the clone is a 1:1 of the original which has a unique cyclone airflow design integrated into the top cap and a drip tip with a splash guard.

This is my second buy from Focal. I was not impressed with the shipping time or customer service with the first (it finally made it here - took about 3 weeks longer than FT), but the Smokeless Owl looks too nice to pass up.
This us also my first group buy anywhere.
Somebody clue me in on the process and the time frame?

Honestly I've never purchased from these guys although I've perused their site many times. So I did decide to jump when they had their easter egg hunt promotion in which they goosed it early on and almost snatched a VF clone for 30 bucks. However they wouldn't honor it so I said screw it I'll pay the difference. But I turn cancelled it in lieu of a VS clone which was a crappy switch although it works in TC (ended up buying an authentic). But on the advent of adding the Mini VF I did purchase it shortly. So I'm patiently waiting its arrival as I intend to have it as my beater TC mod.

They've changed their system up a bit - they used to have a countdown time, then it ships a few days after that so not sure now. I do know that this is probably the 2nd or 3rd wave of these things - the first batch shipped out just a couple of days ago. So I'm guessing maybe a week or so to process (and finish up this wave of orders), then another week or so in transit (I usually get my orders from them within 6-12 days). They ship fast once your order is ready to go out. Just a wild guess though, since they've changed up their system somewhat.
OK Shawn, the countdown is back: 2days 11hrs it says. After that, it's like 3-5 days to get it out the door. Then finally, however long it takes to get to you from China (my experience has been 6-12 days). haha so pretty much what I said before.
I might have to give one of those Chalice clones a go, although everyone with an authentic I know isn't happy with it. For $10 though, I don't need to be overly thrilled

we don't use that word in spain, although the expression "mi hijo/a", applied to non-relatives, is used at the west/south of spain.
also in the south, "quillo/a" (pronounced "keejo/a"), abreviature of "chiquillo/a" (little boy/girl), is used a lot.

Smokeless owl shipped today, now I'll see how long this "random airmail" takes, heh.

I ordered one to try and the Zenith V2.5 with BF pin since i have the Smokeless Owl coming.
I just hope Gearbest actually sells it to me, they canceled my pre-order for the Ataman V2 because they couldn't meet the demand yet they still have it for sale on their site...not sure what that is about.
