Well I survived my triple bypass, which turned out to be a quadruple instead, so now its vape porn time. For those of us creatively challenged, what's the simplest at-least-it-doesnt-look-like-another-catalogue photo setup? I've got 40 or so mods to photograph, so group shots are good.
On the which mini vv/vw front, I really like the 18500 Hana mini I got from Focalecig. Love the black tubed versions (once you see the pics you'll see 2 distinctive colors) of the robbot ZNA clone. The istick is just sooo limited, don't know how many times I built a simple single coil atty that measured out at 0.8 or 0.9 so I couldn't use the istick.

I want something that can hold 10-12 box mods.
I know, right
However, I don't want to make it hold specific ones. That will change over the years. But I don't want them to be too wobbly either. Putting in a bunch of slots that wood slats can sit in seems the way to do it so I can just put the slats where they need to be to securely hold the mods. Going to be a lot of work.

Plexi is very difficult to cut. Straight lines are best. There's no way I could cut 40 little slots without cracking it. With my router I can whip them out with a router.
Make your box mod holder by drilling two holes into 15 or so equal pieces of wood and run a wood dowel though them both. Then the wood pieces can slide in the dowel for different size mods. The mods would rest on one dowel on the bottom and lean back against the other.

anyone interested in the Taifun GT II? alibaba has a few up now and I see a few manufacturers have the XS tank as an option! hopefully when focal gets them in they have the "XS" tank included

I love the Taifun GT. Saw the GT 2 model on Fasttech, they call it the GT-S, and has the airflow control.
But all my GTs are drilled for better airflow. The 2mm maximum air hole was the turnoff for me. I suppose I could drill out the air holes on the new version, but I might as well stick to the old version.
I've also heard that the red o-rings aren't quite as good as the black rings; might want to consider replacing them.
To run the GTs in a shorter mode, get one of the metal nano caps and some of the plastic nano tanks.

Brass SMPL showed up this morning. This thing shipped like four days *after* my IN'AX Nano which still hasn't made it stateside. smh
Anyway, it is just as nice as the copper SMPL clone I have from FC. Same switch, same box, so I'm assuming same manufacturer. Some of the SMPL clones have switches that aren't even close to 1:1. This would be SMPL clone #4 for me but I sold my stainless clone (made by Moander) this morning and it's going to the post office shortly. I just didn't like the switch. Worked fine though. I also have a black Wotofo/A-Mod clone which is very nice. The black finish is rubberized (over brass) and feels really nice. I love these little things.

Hard to tell much from this. The most expensive model looks to have a larger air hole but it (air hole that is) looks the roughest but that means little, production will vary. The threads that can be seen on the el Cheapo model look rough, I'll be able to see it better soon enough..

Any feedback or opinions on the Vamo V7 30W clone? Makes me wonder how they can sell something that actually works for so little...

A manufacturer actually sent me an email for the GT II two or three days ago, and I did tell Doris that she needs to get it. I will plan to stay on her about it, and will try to find a good make of it because you know that "product dept" will source an unknown random
