Thanks for the pics Nikkita! Have you put a build in it yet? I'd hate to ask you to compare oranges to oranges, but I'm curious how they stack up to each other and if those chamfered juice channels in the Robbot Tech KF4 make any difference in performance.

I have it .. I only took it apart and inspected it. Very well machined, every thread is perfect on mine. It was also really clean for an RBA out of China. I posted some comparison pics next to the Robbot Tech version last week, here they are. The Robbot Tech KF4 is the one with eliquid in it, Tobeco KF4 with no juice.

I don't know what an exacto knife is, but I have a really sharp, heavy duty box cutter and it slices the vinyl like butter.

Xacto knives are a brand of hobby knife. Kinda like Kleenex is a brand of tissue.

I love these little knifes, they are very inexpensive and very sharp. Harbor Freight sells them for 25 cents and a pack of ten replacement blades are $1 The blades have segments that you snap off, when the tip becomes dull, extend the blade just far enough to show the line and snap off the end with a pair of pliers, now you have a new sharp blade. I have these all over the house, in the shop and one it the glove box, I use them a lot.

I've been using these types of knives for 20+ years but a friend turned me on to Olfa knives about 8 yrs ago. Basically professional grade versions and they're awesome. They're about $7 for the body and $6 for blades at your local Home Depot.

**Tip**
On most of these types of knives, you take the back cap off and there's a slot to snap off sections of the blade. The Olfa replacement blade comes in a package with a slot on top to break off the sections and collects them in the case so it's much safer.

I didn't order that one myself because I hate how the PMMA tank is cloudy

it shouldn't be

The other place stocks KF V4 replacement tanks now that aren't cloudy, in 2-packs. They also have the 5-pack KF Five Pawns tanks that are the same size (not sure if they'd fit perfectly though - it should, right?). I ordered some for my Orchid, because I think that's the height I need to use with my tall Orchid V4 chimney and KF top-fill cap (I still only have the Orchid V1 without the bottom fill screw).

I haven't built it yet so I have no comparison for the vape ...

Nikki, I'm loving your new, non-backyard-deck pics! :thumb:

Did you build a little box for your 3M films? They look awesome!
I finally got a peek at the pics I've been shooting...not ready for primetime. They suck! Back to reshooting...

I miss my back yard pics  Photo quality is better in natural outdoor light. I do like the grainy, emo film look for vapeporn, but I don't like it for product review shots.

Yea, I made a box with the architectural films, but I made it in a way that I can change the films :)

haha you guys have been playing with knives, I see.

When I was in high school, I was the editor of the yearbook and always had paste-up boards and Xacto knives on me (this was before PCs). I had to wear carpenter pants with the side pockets for the knives. They're handy for cutting out button holes and stuff, but really, any ole SHARP razor blade would work to trim the edges off a Zero sleeve. The trick is to do as Nikki says: cut the piece a little bit bigger, stick it on, then run the blade at an angle along the edge to trim off the excess. It comes out cleaner if you can do it in one continuous swipe. (I don't have a Zero - I used to sell IKEA kitchens and had to trim edge banding off countertops.)

For that, I like these the best:

I love the backyard pics too! But I think the film ones look sexier. :)
Cheer up, winter will be over in no time, then you can snap pics outside again! ;)

That's how I set up my box too (changeable backgrounds), but I didn't quite get the lighting worked out right, so gotta play with it some more.

Help! The dna 30 I bought around thanksgiving is shot! The 510 connection spun free and I had to take off the electronic compartment cover to free my kayfun. I notice exposed wire first then realized it had twisted from my unscrewing my atty. I've emailed Focalecig. Don't know if I violated my warranty or not. Don't feel like I should have. Seems like a faulty part on their end to me. I don't want to have to try and re solder it myself. Does anyone know how they handle warranty stuff? Fairly good or not?

Admins, if I posted this in the wrong place please feel free to move it. :)

My kanger subtank came a day early from focal, it is having a bath now, but later will put it to test to see if it is in fact better than the Atlantis, if not, I'm blaming her, as she was the one who kept saying how awesome it is, but had to give a try, as my rebuilding of the heads for the Atlantis have been a fail so far, the subtank coils look easier to rebuild.

Yes .. the indoor lighting is a bish to work out. Some films do better with low indoor lighting, some like the mid day indoor lighting. But I agree, some of the films do give a grown sexy affect that I like. I like to "feel" something when I look at vapeporn

I haven't forgot about the Praxis either hun .. still waiting for my brass one to show up, so I can review them all and decide which one I want to keep if any .. I hate them all you can them all, but I will be tossing you at least one ... if not two :)

The Subtank doesn't need a bath :glare: The votes are in honey boo, the Atlantis is no match for the Kanger Sub Tank. Although I never had the Atlantis  But I have yet to hear a single person say that the Atlantis is better, not one.

Just take a picture or video of the messed up 510 and email it .. usually opening a device does void your warranty however, in your case it sounds understandable, and necessary to free your Kayfun.

Been using the Subtank a few days now, flavor is better than Atlantis no question, I like the simplified design of the occ coil better, looks super easy to dry burn and rewick (I don't have a coil zapper don't feel bothered to build one and wouldn't rebuild this head without NR-R-NR to the grommet). Looks sharp on a box mod or Zero, as far as we know all SS, Subtank + box mod = all day no worry Vape for most, yes Subtank wins for now... We'll see if that holds true when the Delta II lands.
