How close are they?
i really dont know as i have not vaped original but they are pretty tasty and with DIY you can adjust for your taste.the grandmaster is the one that was posted earlier here ,the gambit i got from another place.
How close are they?
The one I just ordered yesterday as a replacement was FC SKU 23281.
The one that broke was NOT an FC Product. And no, it didn't come from that other place either.
I got my focalecig DNA 30 box mod in yesterday (SKU: 19557) and it keeps giving me "too hot" errors. I even tried using an aerotank with 2ohm coils at 8 watts and it still gives me the "too hot" warning. I bought it for my Lemo and it's built at 1,1ohm and I run that at 15 watts. Just tried it on a Veritas 1.6ohm at 20 watts and it happened on it also. It only happens when I take about 4-6 hits in a short amount of time but it does it on every topper I've tried. Does anybody know of some kind of fix for this or do I need to return it?
I'd return it. Seems like a faulty connection with the chip.
Unless you wish to mess with soldering.![]()

Solid advice. I'll email FC today and ask if I can return it. I waited so long to get one hoping that the bugs would be worked out. Guess it was wishful thinking.
On another note my IPV Mini is flawless.![]()
Was it press fit, or does the 510 positive screw hold it in place? If it's a screw thing there's hope, if pressed you need a new insulator. I just got around to building mine today, but it's just OK on my first build. I'll try a different build in a couple of days, maybe a spaced coil with rayon.View attachment 402744
Any clever ideas on how to fix this? Is it even possible to fix this? So, annoyed, only one build on this N22. It was a good atty if it had not fallen apart.![]()
No, you just got a janky one. Others have been very happy with theirs.
You need to get a video of the too hot message to show them.
Don't open it up unless you're prepared to keep it. It might be a solder connection, but it could be a janky chip. That's why I would return it, in case its the chip.

Mmmm, the smok xpro m22 looks like it might be nice and sandy might like it. For $37 I might have to give it a go
Nevermind, I thought the m22 was 50watt and battery was replaceable with bottom charge port??
I had a DNA 35 watt box that did the same thing. After doing some troubleshooting and reading, it is a common problem.
There are only 3 things I found to do with it. Live with it, send it back or mod it.
Check out the vid.
Hope this helps
