RIP Origen Genesis

I knew this was gonna happen eventually. The soft aluminum 510 threading broke off in my First top cap.
My fault too. I forgot how soft it was and grabbed it there with a towel and pliers to unscrew the tank. So yeah, don't do that!

Now I'm trying to decide whether or not I like it enough to buy a new one (kinda thinking not really). Ironic - the mod that I bought to go with it is arriving tomorrow! :grr: I liked it, but may go for the rda version now, since it was a PITA to wick with that tank anyway.

Sorry to hear that hun :( I haven't used this one yet either but I have it scheduled for 2/9/15, if for some reason I don't like it I will send it to you with the Praxis .. but only if I don't like it. :p I do like the way it looks, but thats all I got at the moment.

Looks like you are vaping a pool of applesauce  And what kind of 18350's do you have that you are vaping at .5 ohms with them? I have this scheduled for the first Monday in February so I have a week or two before I use it. But good to hear that flavor is good :)

I received my Five Pawns juice yesterday and I am vaping Gambit right now, but it doesn't taste like apple with pie crust. It tastes like custard with a hint of pie crust and a lesser hint of apple .. way less  I like it though :)

No way this is 18mg though .. I should have a headache by now and I don't :p

I'm using purple Efest "10.5A" cells. They haven't blown up yet, lol. I'm not chain vaping this little cute thing. I actually rebuilt it to .6 with no applesauce.

It ain't pretty but it vapes pretty darn good.

LOL, now that you mentioned it, it indeed does look like applesauce :D

Glad your liking the Gambit :) just curious, What are you vaping it in? What ohms? On some of my attys I get more of the crust flavor with very subtle Apple aftertaste. On others the apple comes out more.

Have you tried the Grandmaster yet?

No :( That is not like the bunny, I am sure its an oversight. I will leave her a skype message and ask her to snap out of it for ya ;-)

Doris is the best, she came through once again, my ZNA is now on the way from the USA warehouse! I also got in on the DNA 40 board group buy a couple days ago, the plans are to put that chip in the ZNA but I may use it for a week or so before deciding, I do have the Hana box I can put the chip in but I love the looks of the ZNA. Either way I'm so excited to have both on the way! :)

I don't really know what you mean by moving on its own, but I would highly suggest that you DO NOT TRY TO TIGHTEN IT or adjust it with a screwdriver. Every single person who has done so has broken it.

What I mean is the slot that looks like it is for a flathead screwdriver on the positive pin is in a slightly different orientation when attaching/removing attys. It doesn't move much. For example, if the slot is at say the 3 and 9 o'clock position it might move to the 4 and 10 o'clock position or the 2 and 8 o'clock position after taking off the atty...as if I tried to tighten or loosen it slightly with a screwdriver even though I have not touched it. Maybe this is just natural play/tolerance but I'm worried it will over tighten or back itself out over time. I have not and will not try to adjust it with a screwdriver. I'll just use it as is and hope all is well.

I keep hearing this about Nicoticket, long steep times. So Burnie baby, how old is the juice you sent me? I hope its kinda old :p Oh, and what flavor is it again?? I know its something with Peanut butter right? Or cookies?

Peanut butter and cookies?

Both are 30ml bottles (over filled to the neck, I only tried 1/2ml of each), the Banana Pudding is 18mg/ml and the Peanut Butter Cookie is NZmg/ml. These were both limited releases at Nicoticket and not on their website at the moment. Both have a born on date of 11/20/2014. Longer steeping I am sure would help. but they taste like what they say to me, YMMV. :) If you order from them at least try Wakonda ( I have 180ml+ of it), and The Virus ( I have 60ml+ of it, need to order more). Just a 15ml bottle, those are my favs at the moment. I have 5 other 15ml bottles I haven't tried yet, letting them steep a little first. CLS & CB are not bad either, but still testing those (Currently have 12 different ones, had 14 but sent you 2 of them.:D) I have been DIY for a long time, But have spent over $300 on NT juice in the last couple of months, it's That Good to Me (YMMV).

No, you just got a janky one. Others have been very happy with theirs.

You need to get a video of the too hot message to show them.

You were right! :) I emailed Doris about the "too hot" reading on my DNA 30 and she did ask me to send a video. I did and somebody named "Eleven" replied back and told me they would send another one out with my next order. I already have 2 orders from focalecig on their way right now so I don't really need anything. Still, I ordered a few drip tips that might look nice on my soon to arrive Orchid V4 and Amod/wotofo Erl clone. They already added the replacement DNA 30 to my order.

Can't ask for much better service than that. Take that haters! Mouahaha!

Sweet! You have me more excited to give it a go. I kind of liked the applesauce though  I wonder how easy it would be to change flavors using the the IN'AX Nano? I have some flavor testing in my future and I would like to not have to change cotton wicks repeatedly.

Just torch the ceramic wick between juices and hope it doesn't fall apart, lol. If you look at the bottom of the wick in my second build pic, part of it has already broken free. They aren't terribly durable. It is kind of a PITA to wrap the coil. I'm hoping I can perfect it before I trash all the wicks. That's why I'm thinking the 2mm ReadyXWick may be a candidate for this thing.

edit: also, I think the OG comes with different sized "thingies" which capture the coil lead at the top of the positive post to accommodate different gauge wire. As far as I can tell, all the "thingies" are the same size with the clone.

It does right? I am vaping Gambit in the Aqua V2 freshly built with dual coils at .7 ohms. It is yummy and I am enjoying it, but custard is the dominant flavor to me. At .7 ohms I should be sick by now with 18mg. I was aiming for 1.5ohm but I missed that by a lot  I used my new coil master on the 2.5mm rod with 12 wraps .. thought that would be enough :p

I haven't tried Grandmaster yet, not sure when I will get to it because I am saving that one for a juice review :) I am comparing different eliquids at different price points, but with similar flavor profiles to determine if the heftier price tags are worth it.

Does Five Pawns need to steep long? The bottle date is November, and its a sealed, never opened bottle. The Gambit was a bit older though, mixed in August.

Glad she finally got back to you :) Is this the Wotofo or Robbot ZNA? I have two Robbot potential transplant bodies, since I am in NY too I could have hooked you up Willy! One is brand new, but had an auto fire issue out of the box, so I figured that one day I could put a new chip in it. The 2nd is the newer 50W, but I don't care for it though, the chip that is ... the build quality is even better than my first one, which still alive and very well.

Aha .. I get it now. Well keep an eye on that, but definitely don't try to adjust it. I think your idea about getting one of those 510 adapter thingies is a good idea. I saw a pic of a heat sink adapter on it, and at least it looked good.

I will have to pay attention to this now, because I have noticed anything, but I haven't exactly been paying attention to the slots position either ...

I actually like the xc116 idea, and I will keep that one in mind .. How much does Athea charge for replacement ceramic wicks?

Oh no..... I would have bought one from you..... Well if I get another chip I'll let you know, I just might. It's the Wotofo, the one that fit my budget. I figure how bad can it be if I use the body as the donor?

Willy .. I so would have given you "best price"  Its ok babes, I have racked up about 4 so called "transplant bodies" (two Zero's also) I will use at least one bribe someone into doing a chip transplant for me .. but I kinda need to get some chips first

Let me know how your transplant goes if you do it .. you may be the person I bribe :D

No clue what Athea charges for wicks... I haven't actually found a source. However, here's a video which may help with rocking cotton - I think I'll try this tomorrow. It's not for the Nano but should be the same deal... (be forewarned, you'll want to yell at the guy to hurry up and wick the damn thing):

On a related note, I had no idea the OG sells for 195€... that's like $230. Um, yeah. I'm good with paying for authentics which I feel are worth the coin - this isn't one of them.

If I understand the question correctly, would teflon plumbers tape or dental floss help tighten the screw up?
I thought of the Teflon tape although not the floss but I'm concerned about electrical continuity. I don't know if the button needs to be live or whether adding an insulator like Teflon would break things.
The doctor appointment did not go well. I need a slew of tests, a cardiologist and neurologist :(
Sorry to hear that. OTOH, its just about a month since I complained to my docs about meds not working well. In that time I was diagnosed, had 4 bypass surgery and have been home exactly 3 weeks of recovery. What they can do with medicine nowadays can be amazing. So lotsa luck sent your way :)
