@inswva .. OMG .. I started the IN'AX today  My ceramic wicks fit fine, but I ran into a problem with my catch screws being a little too big. It wouldn't hold 27 gauge wire tight enough so that I had enough tension to wrap the wick.

Wrapped it from the bottom up which started great but then when I went to put the catch screw on it made the top coil stand out from the wick, so while it all lit up ok, the coils all need to be touching the wick. So .... I cut a piece of xc116 and threaded that on the center post, and because of its thickness it solved the issue of not being able to get all the coils to remain tight ... what a bish this was, but I got it done.

I don't like the fact that I can't meter the coil though so I have no idea what the resistance is and this makes me nervous because I am using AW's. But it works well, I just will not be chain vaping it. I figure the battery can handle burst, but I don't want to push it.

I used 28AWG... about 1.25" of wire. I just put my DMM leads on the negative screw head and on the "thingie" which holds the wire to the positive post. I really couldn't say whether it's accurate or not though. DMM showed .6ohms, math says it should be .55ohm. Worst case, that's 7.6A. I'm using the purple "10.5A" Efest cells. It really is a PITA to build, even after watching several vids. I'm thinking I like my LPG *much* more than the Nano. It's cool but I don't think it'll be anything other than a novelty item for me.

I may try some 30AWG though...

Left hand thread machine screws can be found from suppliers like McMaster-Carr. But I think what people are using are wood-type screws and/or drywall screws and I have personally never seen a LH threaded wood or drywall screw. These have different threads than what's used on machine screws.
thanks, i'm seeing some U.S. suppliers. am researching for them in china or europe now (will try u.s. if don't get success).
humm, looking at mcmaster-carr.. great site, let's see about shipping costs.. thank you!!

I bought both kuro and master coilers due to health issues. I have no feeling in my hand and can't see very well (cataracts). I can rap coils but they are not pretty. I am hoping the collier's will help the old and disabled people like me. 8-o

Yep, and me. Arthritis, neuropathy, Raynauds. Geez, I'm an old mess :(

Haku,

Spaced coils are easy peasy. Just wrap a loose microcoil on your screwdriver. Doesn't have to look pretty. Just wrap "x" times say 6. Once you are done with the wraps remove the coil. Looks a bit janky??? but that is ok.

Just take the coil and squeeze with your fingers to compress the whole coil. Viola!!!! instant perfectly spaced coils. ;)

Sorry, I can't help you on where to find small left hand threaded screws but I know there are out there, somewhere, I've seen them here and there over the years when repairing things. They are more common in auto & trucks but they are much larger screws (bolts) then your looking for. Best you can do is what your doing now, search the net.

It doesn't unscrew at all? Maybe you can use the Heron 510 adapter on it to meter...

Not me. I use machine screws. Usually #2, #4, M2, M2.5 or M3.
But it's all good. I just wrap that one tight and spread it with a T-pin or Xacto knife.

Nikki, I must not have read all the salient information in your Nano post... I had to wrap the top of the coil leg through, over and around, and back through the catch thingie for it to fit tightly on the post. Like I posted before, I believe the OG thingies have varied insider diameters to accommodate different gauge wires. The ones which come with the clone really need 26AWG but it's going to be difficult to get enough wraps of 26 on the wick to raise the resistance enough for an 18350.

I did try a cotton build and it failed miserably. My Nemy hybrid adapter should be showing up soon... I think I'll run the Nano tube with a 510 atty if I decide to hold on to it.

I was trying to read what the green ring thing says:
sku_23803_1.jpg

Spin it around in the other views and I coulda sworn it said "MARRIED TO MY MOTHER."

...but nope, "married to my mod."

I liked the Lancia enough I bought a second and I don't have many drippers as I prefer tanks. So I'd say you've made a good choice. As far as the mod, don't know about it. I did notice that the Wolf mod is on sale. Its basically a traditional Stingray (not the newer Stingray X) with a wolf logo instead of the Stingray logo. The Gus is a substantial 25mm mod. I like mine even though its not very close to the original Gus Lord.

Focalecig big sales

I have a Lancia and Anarchist in my cart, someone talk me into/out of either? Shipped from USA is a nice plus, not like I need any of this stuff quickly. The SMPL I received a couple weeks ago is taking a lot of my vape time.

I thought the Anarchists were sold out in the USA warehouse...
Everybody seems to really like the Lancia though. :thumb:
