i had an issue with the kato: it autofired while locked into a pocket. noticed the hot on my skin, the glass of the atty cracked. wasn't able to find the cause, but removed the o-rings i putted in the switch, and restored its original longer throw.
the aluminum gets scratched easily (even not touching the robbot zna ;)). "fixed" it by using the scotch brite, but had to brush the whole allu surface to get it uniformed; now i'll have to polish it a bit, because my brushing skills are poor.
although it's a bit heavy, i've been using it as my outdoor pocket mod; compact and easy to carry on.

btw, i've made another fix to the 510 of my sxmini, reinserting the spring and using a nylon washer and a nylon nut (the items i was able to get), as replacement of the broken phenolic upper gasket. now it's spring loaded again, and there is less risk when screwing a long 510 atty (can push it harder, the nylon resists much pressure). even you can unscrew (adjust) the pin a bit (not too much, if it gets pulled out, you'll have to open the mod), to make contact with short 510s.
so i can say that my rookie fix has improved the original 510 =))

Thanks for your input on the Kato, haku. And, nice work on the SX Mini!

I haven't ordered the Kato... yet. By the time I make up my mind the sale will probably be over, lol.

I've only had my Kato for about 2 weeks. Lots of fine surface scratches. Its just so handy to grab and slip into my pocket when I leave the house that its been the only thing that's left my house in those 2 weeks, hence the scratches. So as an everyday workhorse mod I think its a good choice. So get one. As long as you still use mechanical mods you'll like it.

yw. forgot to tell you that the voltage drop is low (thought it would be higher, but it isn't), so it hits very well

Nice portrait porn honey ... I am within a hair of sending you my Lancia. I actually have two, one has never been used because the plug holes in the deck are slightly too small, so the plugs don't go all the way. I contacted FC about it and they sent me another one which is fine. If you think you can open up the holes in the deck I will send it to ya if you want. :)

*Random notes* I just looked over my shoulder and out the window and it snowed  Why Lord? We were doing so good

So, the Lancia... I should have ordered this a *lot* sooner. It brings redonkulous flavor and makes more than respectable fog. I heart this atty very much. I probably need another one while they are still on sale. I probably need to shore up the o-rings on the base as the glass isn't terribly secure. Threw in some simple 2.5mm 24ga duals metering at .27ohms and used the largest plugs. I think the Lancia has officially kicked my Billow off the Workhorse.

Ok and you've now convinced me to pick up the black one. :glare:
I've recently liquidated quite a bit of the gear I no longer use regularly, if at all, so baby's got some room to play. Mwahahahah

Hey hey everybody, check your boy Inswva's first published product review! Please show him some love and encouragement

Ivogo Dimitri Review | Vaping Cheap

Aw... shucks.

I've already re-written it in my head several times since it was submitted, lol. Slug review is on deck and will hopefully demonstrate some improvement!

edit: just to add, the thing I'm most proud of is finding a font to use in the header pic which perfectly matches the Dimitri's engraved logo, lol. It's the simple things in life, folks.

Its a great review Nathan, really. :) But I always feel like whatever I have done could be better, so I feel ya. And yes, I absolutely noticed the perfectly matching font and was wondering if that was a coinky dink, or did you work some secret magic to make it happen :p Nice touch dear ;-)
