I put in my first order with Focal on Feb. 2 and i gotta say,i am not impressed with them at all.I ordered the vapor flask,it said ships in 2-7 business days,but i get an email today saying it wont ship now until sometime after their Chinese new year celebration.I knew there would be some wait because of being from China,but it will be at least a month from order to delivery,and not even got a definite ship date,just a sometime after the holiday haha.I think i'll stick with fasttech after this one.

A bit of dichotomy in my vape mail today - the $165 rta and the $7 FC 4nine "Special Edition" clone, lol.
And, speaking of the FC 4nine clone, it's pretty much junk which I guess is no surprise. I removed the additional connector bits in the top cap to go hybrid with it and can only get it to fire if I don't use the top part of the magnet switch. If I stick the bottom part of the switch to the battery I can get it to fire so I know the top magnet spacer piece is janky. No matter how I adjust the magnet in the spacer, no love. Oh well... I bought this thing to use for patina practice anyway.
edit: spoke too soon. I got it working... stupid magnet has to be "just right" in the spacer. 1/4 rotation either way and it won't fire. I guess I could sand the spacer down a bit but, eh, I'm not that motivated.

Have you checked out the machining on the SqR yet? I think you'll be very pleased 
And you won't have to pull the decks out with your teeth. Don't forget to lube the o ring and posts a bit to make it even easier to get the deck back out.

Yep, it is a beautifully machined piece. Several orders of magnitude nicer than the crappy clones. I did follow all the lube instructions, lol. I couldn't believe how smoothly the deck clicked into the base. I love this thing... like, a lot. I'm going to sell my Lemos and Billow and start building the funds for another SqR. Guess I need to do it fairly quickly while Vaperev still have them in stock.
There is a SqR in the classies right now with the S deck and two W decks for $150. I just don't have the scratch at the moment... well, I do, but I've committed to another authentic bottomfeed Derringer and need to not spend that cash on anything else.

lol... Aliens is one of my favorite movies of all time and Bill Paxton was great.
I think it was the best of the series but they were all great. I even like the AvP series. Prometheus was pretty good too.

That new "Deviant" DNA40 device does look pretty neat. First thing that popped into my head was H.R. Giger, without even knowing that's who inspired it. Hopefully it's more comfortable to hold than everyone's favorite cuddly Alien from the movies.

The 4nine is worth $7, I guess. Mine has stopped working again because the top switch contact keeps working itself out of the plastic retainer ring and loses contact with bottom part of the switch. It really is kind of a POS... or, at least mine is. But, again, it'll be a good guinea pig for patina projects.
edit: it does, however, kind of make me want an authentic now.

I did think of you when I got it because I remembered when you posted yours too I wasn't expecting it to look as nice as it does with the Poldy in 350 mode, so I am glad that I pulled the trigger on both. I was thinking about the Five Pawns KFL around Xmas but went with the Aqua V2 instead.I understand how you feel but it is really not the fault of the Focalecig, the manufacturer simply cannot keep up with the demand and this is a hot release right now. Focalecig is not the only reseller of this Vapor Flask, and whenever there is a much anticipated Hot new release, there is restocking and long wait times ... its just the nature of the beast, welcome to China dear
The Kangxin Vapor Flask is the "it" Clone of the moment so this is all par for the course. ;-)
