other than that one minor hitch , yeah focal is great . i quit cigs jan 12th of this year , so i tried three over sea's company's so far , a single agelcigs order , a focal and i have done a very healthy amount of orders from FT . i have been ordering electronic components from overseas for many years so i am aware of shipping times , and basically i get it , and i am patient about shipping times . however if a company does not ship items or does not do the right thing by there customers , this can test my patience a bit . i figure i deserve a bit of a complete unruly outburst here so forgive me if i start shape shifting and metamorphosizin into some demonic thing out of ghost busters / the omen for a minute while i reiterate my focalecig saga . pretty sure i am gonna be banned after this . which is cool , so please forgive the lack of dancing fruit emoticons and smiley happy guys in this message as at this point i feel they have not developed the necessary little guys to truly convey the depths of my agony as relating to this personal journey .
back in february , i had a doa ego-t battery , 15 professional , rational , calm emails later ..... ..... ......... i still have not received my replacement . i was asked for photos , i complied immediately . i was asked to make an order so they would ship the replacement with this order . i am disabled , and broker than one could imagine as i was screwed so unbelievably hard on my injury it hurts to even think about that situation . thank god my wife and daughter work .... ( they have been hiring a lot since the collapse at the mine ) at the time when this battery failed , basically a DOA , i was told i had to order again from this FC company to receive a replacement for a doa item . now i was not planning an order , "we" honestly cant afford it . but at that same time i had to have the battery so thank god that got very lucky and picked up 20 dollars on a "side job" repairing a computer for a drummer ( there is a joke in there , somewhere ) . so , i ordered . i actually ordered a 15 dollar item , despite the fact i really wanted to be cheap and get a beauty ring or some cotton / a single coil , maybe three inches of 32 only .
i immediately emailed customer service rep " eleven " with this FIRST additional unwanted but necessary to get the replacement order info . but after waiting end receiving the identical email back a few times , i eventually figured out what " eleven " was attempting to convey to me ( some days i am a little thick after vaping all the home made toxic e-juice that has been spiked with scrubbing bubbles , bath salts, ammonia , rubbing alcohol , and whatever else i can rustle up from under the medicine cabinet ) . that the replacement was not shipped with this order , that i was told to make , that i made after i was told to , that i immediately emailed this customer service rep " eleven " with the order info , clearly stated . hmm,. strange things are afoot at the circle K ?
the charger i had purchased , well it actually came with the battery's i had initially ordered from this FC company , it is an 800mah charger as these battery's are all large 3200 mah ego - t units . this charger that i only have ONE of also died , two days after the battery failed . initially , my single and only intended focalecig order , i had purchased three battery's but these only came with one charger from focalecig . shame on me , right ? this is obviously what i get for not reading the fine print , new vaper , live and learn , no matter what you are thinking is a good deal , do hundreds of hours of research before clicking that pay now icon , or you WILL regret it . but sometimes , even hours and hours of research can end up being time wasted when one finds oneself in an extremely unfortunate position with nothing more than an " i am sorry" to make things right . i am beginning to realize the true sorrow may indeed be mine and mine to bear alone as the third "unwanted" order status is still listed as " Collecting Products Now " and i was indeed informed that they are waiting on the tube mod as it is not in stock , which all of this it just seems like a dream to me at this point , like something that may have happened , time heals all wounds ? .
i let eleven know the charger had failed . he told me in order to replace the charger he would charge me for an upgrade which i dont understand how i go from an item that stopped working under warranty counts as me wanting an upgrade but what ever .attempting to vape rather dealing with hardware issues has become my full time job over time so at this point i happily paid the difference , i was starting to notice frequent brown outs in our ac mains system and i attributed this to the amount of emails going back and forth so i figured it may be best to pay and this would expedite the situation . at this point in my fantasy world i planned a SECOND order i was fantasizing that if i went ahead and ordered MORE items my needed replacement battery and charger would indeed be shipped . would anyone care to guess what happened with the second order , i will give you a hint , it was shipped , without the battery or charger , and i have not recieved that order yet as well . So eventually going with the "3rd time is the charm" ideology , i foolishly placed an order for a chi yu mech tube mod , this item showed 2-7 day ship time .
it has been since February , i still have not received the chi you mech mod , the replacement battery or the charger , or the rings which i ended up HAVING TO PAY FOR the charger , even though it stopped working , basically doa as i only used it a few times. i had also made a order of just the two beauty rings , those apparently have shipped as every single tracking number i have ever received from focal has been worthless , even when i attempt to use the linked cartage company's site as is supplied at focals site , i am told "invalid tracking number" . come to think , i have had maybe 20 messages total on this single bad transaction , that has really cost me , frustration , resources and my time as i am often wasting time going thru a lengthy process attempting to determine if any movement has occurred , and i still have not received my stuff ,.it sure would have been nice if the replacement battery was shipped with the first order , or heck the beauty rings order , that would have been a thoughtful gesture , as i was constantly emailing this " eleven" ( how many times this person shoots up PCP before leaving for work ? )
i have contacted Doris , she apologized . i hate to and know i should not gripe in public but ...and again , as this is public , i am sure this is MY fault , i will be regretting posting this here but what the heck , i figure perhaps it will enhance the full saga . we shall see how my youtube channel feels about this deal , if and when it eventually unfurls and completes its cycle of insanity , i am thinking it may make for a decent video . i am not in the practice of mentioning company's names when i have a nightmarish experience , as i really dont feel right about throwing people under the bus . i would THINK that in situations like i have found myself in , a company like focal would do "the right thing" but man oh man am i an ignorant foolish son of a b when i t comes to how things really work , and i am sure i am in for a good flaming / accusation session / scapegoading now so ... feel free to go ahead and lay into me everyone .i didnt come here for sympathy , i came here to waste even more of my time on this most regretful of decisions .
i will be sitting here , as i grow older and wiser , with grand kids on me knee , regailing them with storys about the good old days , that time when i quit smoking and made that one order ... back when the wonderful barack obama was president , before the allien invasion , the return of the dinosaurs , the next phase of human evolution etc etc etc .

Never heard of Vapmod so I have no detailed info, and while I should be over anything Zero mod inspired, this looks really good.
