I went to get another Stingray X yesterday, and they're gone. Guess I'll pay extra and get one from the US Warehouse. I'm in need of 1 or 2 more mods. Love my SXK Stingrays.

What is the appeal of that mod? I just don't see it, maybe I'm missing something though.

Its as well made as the authentic.

It hits like a truck.

Its short even in 18650 form, which is great because I use RTAs, which are tall.

Sets up in seconds. No fiddling with the 510, or for battery rattle.

With the SS sleeve, I'm not constantly polishing.

Easy switch. I have bad arthritis.

I think its beautiful.

Spare parts abound.

They still have them, just not on sale. The China SKU is 20010 and it's $30 vs $36 + 2 from US. They've gone on sale twice in the past couple of months, so it might show up again.

I'll keep my eye on it then. I'm all about saving money :). I am short a couple mods right now after seeing some new, affordable RTAs I couldn't pass up.

Yeah, I hate it you run across one of those things you "can't pass up". Happened to me earlier this week when I stumbled into a group buy for a strange temperature controlled mod. Wanted to try TC and this thing is supposed to be rugged and splash resistant, sounded like a good work mod and the price was right. There went my vape money for the month.

I agree, the stingray has been one of the most reliable mechs I've had, no messing with switch or anything, just works awesome and looks awesome too.

While I think I overpaid for my Infinite Stingray clone (not from FC), I can agree that it hits very well, right up there with my SMPL and 4Nine. The biggest gripe for me has been the firing switch which eventually became stuck, just needed to be taken apart and cleaned thoroughly. It's still a little loose and can occasionally catch, but it's not nearly as bad as when I first received it about a year ago.

Agreed on the switch. The Nemesis and both Stingray versions benefit greatly from switch massaging. That's usually the first thing I do when I get a new one.

I agree on the value of the SXK stingray X. I just received mine last week. I cleaned it up and the threads are all very smooth. The extension tubes are pretty seamless. The entire device is extremely solid for the price.

It fires very well and the switch feels good. This is my second mechanical next to the AMOD SMPL, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I believe the quality is very good. The switch should be cleaned every few days to keep it firing well.

They always looked a little too "mariachi band" to me, but I think Weezy completely ruined them for me when he said the little embellishments on the sides look like climbing worms.
That imagery is forever burned in for me now.
:D :D Never got the Mariachi thing before, but I could see them making some kind of musical instrument out of one. Luckily I have no problems with worm designs.

Did you see that they're carrying bottom feeders now? Always wondered about those. Good thing I'm broke so I'm not tempted. ;)

You mean this one? $38.89-$39.50 Smokeless Owl Style E-Cigarette Starter Kit - Black
They should really make a bigger deal of stuff like that. No mention at all anywhere of it being a bottom feeder - not the title, not the description,...kinda when they quietly snuck in the temperature protection mods.
I'm even more broke than you, but what holds me back is the button being up on top.

I'm tempted to try a bottom feeder, always wanted to try one, wish they would of added a atty you can use with it too though.

Edit. OK just noticed it does come with one, that is tempting, have to wait though, as broke like everyone else it would seem :nah:

Yup that one. They probably have no idea what a bottom feeder is, so to them it's just another mod. The Kato got me used to the top button, so that part doesn't bother me.

If we keep it on the DL and they don't sell many, we might be able to pick them up on clearance in a couple of months. ;)

P.S. sorry about not having any cutesy emoji, I'm on my phone.
