Well, had trouble with my Flask almost immediately. It said all my attys were shorted. Turned out to be metal shavings in the 510. Going to put a FDV on it. That crunchy threaded copper one sucks.

That sucks @roxynoodle can't say I've had any problems with mine at all, but admit I don't change atties though, had a subtank on it, and don't even unscrew the base to fill.

Now the sx mini clone is a fail, that one will be fine for a while, then sudden freeze while firing, unscrew atty and back on, but mod is just froze, have to take battery back out to reset the mod, serves me right for jumping on it so fast.

Sorry to hear that, glad I went for the Mini Vapor Flask instead. Wonder if the chip in the SX would be easy to replace.

I got the mini VF, good buy, solid device, cheaper and better than the sx mini IMO ;)

... might go for the bottom feeder cherry bomber instead, but heard a few complaints on them too, so might just hang on a while.
What made focalecig decide to offer it in white or baby blue? Black, plain aluminum, even red or a dark blue and I'd give one a try anyway. But those color options?

Alright, thanks. I'll try replying once more to the email and if that doesn't work by tomorrow night, I'll get on skype.
You can try emailing her too: sales@focalecig.com
Forward the 2 emails you got from Seven and tell her you still didn't get your answer. In other words, make it known from the jump that there was a problem in your dealings with CS regarding this issue - that way she won't be forced to bounce it back to them.

I went looking, being the curious type. Gotta say... What's with screws on battery doors? Doesn't China get that magnets are the sought after alternative? Otherwise it looks like a Zero type design, that C shape. And just 35W in today's world of 100W+ boxes seems low. OTOH, even with my own sub ohm builds or the various subtank styles out there, I find I'm usually at just 20 or 25 Watts so 35W max would be plenty.

Speaking of subtank style atomizers, is there a way to find out if focalecig will be carrying the "V2" clone of the Arctic tank? I find I prefer that over the other tanks I've tried but the 3.5ml capacity is pretty small. From what I can tell these V2 clones are just a taller tank/chimney section to double the capacity to 7ml. I'd prefer not to go to FastTech to get them.

Oops I derped. Nevermind what I said about the email. It was responded to correctly. I didn't file the first email like I was supposed to and it was appended as a reply to the first one but it looked like a new email. My apologies for the confusion. Didn't need to send another one or do anything. My bad.

Gonna have my coppah one in a few weeks, whee!

Now to make up for my stupidity, I'll say something useful for all the people interested in TC! There's a thread on FT now about temp limiting nichrome builds using a mod with a nickel purity setting, turning it all the way down to 10, and setting the temperature low. It's in a thread about clapton coils, but it went off track in a good way.

Edit: Since nichrome fluctuates less than stainless steel, it should also be possible to temp control various food/medical grades of stainless steel wire by fiddling with the nickel purity setting.

So i just created an account, ordered an RDA and checked out with paypal. Paid, focalecig said payment success and i clicked continue shopping. Redirected me back to the site, cart still full and can't find the order in my order list. Is this normal or what?

    EDIT:
Nevermind, it took like 15 20 mins for the order to appear. All good :)
