I was just thinking this morning (like I do every morning) how annoyed I am that my SqR is so tall...

, but I actually really like it, and still use it often (right now, as a matter of fact). I've emailed Doris to add a pic of the top parts of the decks....but $33.65? Think I'll be waiting for a sale...

You know that they make a stubby replacement top. Stubby isn't the word I really want but can't think of the correct term for shorter than normal. I got 2 of those although I ended up just using 1 of them even though I use 3 SqR. Just dislike the lack of any clear part. I need to see the juice level.

But if it's another dud, I managed to get an extra working base/deck assembly from FT from the last fiasco. Really just need the shorter tank...but not for $33.65. Got my Tobeco Aqua V2 today, Roxy! Haven't built it yet, but looks awesome.
Good price on a SS SMPL mod clone today, I like my copper one so much that I couldn't say no to this one. And it appears to have the screw contact for the firing switch as opposed to the flimsy "horseshoe" clip. Two weird things, though: the last picture shows two magnets and the description says it's spring-loaded, neither of which seem to be accurate.
Ordered the Marquis clone as well, heard good things about this particular one.
Does anyone else think that the vapor flask squonker that listed today looks a little... cheap except for the price? I can't figure out if it's by Kangxin or Waidea (or neither).

As luck would have it, my Velocity clone (black w/ bottom feeder pin) arrived today. Initial impression is good, though one of the posts is bent slightly a few degrees towards the middle. It shouldn't affect functionality. My guess is that it was machined just fine but was damaged during shipping (the included tiny box was really roughed up). Only a couple spots on the threading that are a bit sharp but not so much that it would hurt anything. No loose bits of metal shavings either.
I'm going to let it soak for a bit then throw in some coils later for a more thorough review.

That was my thought too.I got excited when i got the email saying they were in,then when i went and looked i was pretty dissapointed.I think it's that glossy finish that turned me off from it,has a plastic look to it.I doubt it's made by kangxin or waidea because Focal usually lists the name if it's one of those 2.
I feel exactly the same way, the glossy finish is turning me off too.
Quick update on the Velocity BF clone: I'm totally digging this thing. The slightly askew post I mentioned earlier is only doing that due to the way it's seated against the insulator, so it's not damaged, just a slight flaw. Not a big deal. I say this because I decided to install the bottom feeder pin to throw onto the Smokeless Owl I bought last month, and loosening the copper center pin and the interior post pin (both need to be removed to install the BF pin) completely separates the post that is seated against the insulator. I suppose it's possible to work with it a little to get it completely straight, but I'm not bothering with it right now.
I threw in a simple ~0.8Ω twisted kanthal single coil, plopped it on my SM squonker and it's putting the atty that was included in that kit to shame. The main drawback is that the pin on the squonker isn't adjustable so there is about a 1.5mm gap between the housing and the Velocity.
The only real downside I can see for the Velocity is that there really isn't an ideal airhole setup if one wanted to do a single-coil configuration, so it's really best suited for duals or even quads, which I might actually try at some point since the Velocity is far and away the easiest atomizer with which to install coils that I've used thus far. I'll snap some pics and post soon.

My kui and chalice shipped few days ago, so should see them end of next week, beginning of the following, then we will see how good or bad they are, already had 1 chalice from gearbest and went to the trash due to stripped post straight out of the box, so hoping 2nd time will be better with focal

I just ordered the kui a few days ago,looking forward to trying it out when it gets here,but mine hasn't shipped yet,so i've still got a bit of a wait.I'll probably try out the chalice eventually,but for now,i already have several rda's that i have converted for bf,so i need to use those for a while first until i get tired of them haha.Hope things get better for you @G-weezy

For anyone who got the smokeless owl or terminator,if you don't like the included rda,it can still be useful.I took the bottom screw out of mine to see if it would fit any other rda's.and the only one i tried it on so far is the freakshow mini,but it was the same threading.I now have my freakshow mini modded for bf,i pushed the center post out and drilled the sqounk/drain holes,pushed the pin back in,and installed the screw from the owl atty.Very quick and easy mod on that one.
What's up with the polished kui? Looks like they removed the engraving? It was so pretty before. The black one still has it though.
It was so pretty before. The black one still has it though.Hell yeah I bought 4. I love this one so much. The black one also has the magnets but its not on sale. Same magnets as the nemesis if you want to get some spares.
The old mod they were selling under that sku was spring loaded, I think they just left the info as is.
