Thanks for this thread. After reading it and doing additional research, I now understand that it's unwise to use either types of e-juice exclusively, It's important to have a mix of the two to balance safety, flavor, and vapor production. I'll be keeping my mixes now no more than 60/40 PG/VG
Some amount of mixing is definitely a popular approach for reasons that vary by the individual, but for the skimmers out there and in case the thread ends now, I just wanted to clarify that the above was actually not a conclusion of or subject brought up in this particular thread. It was also not proposed that due to something discussed here or elsewhere, adding VG might be a good or safer plan, etc. Basically it cited previous encouraging research and info about PG; discussed reasons why vaping it might not be so similar to fog machine and typical fog machine venue conditions; and acknowledged that it may well be too much to expect that it would be completely ok to inhale
anything into ones lungs on a regular basis that isn't meant to be there.
Anyway. Choosing not to use fairly large ratios of both PG and VG isn't something I see getting characterized as
"unwise." And of course it's all dependent on which angle it's being looked at from and what a given person's primary objectives are, e.g. some like lots of vapor, some don't or want greatest stealth more. Some have a preference due to effect on flavor. And while some do find that one or the other or a combo sits better with their own system, beyond that, there isn't any 'evidence' or reason to believe that VG might be
safer. If
anything more reason to think it might be less so, and less is known about it in this type of context. At least there are some good things known about PG in a related context. (How or if they translate still undetermined.)
In the end most ppl seem to just go with whatever concoction their own system tolerates best and that tastes and vapes to their liking.
Ok yada yada yada! Good that the thread was helpful to you as part of your decision-making compilation, savagemyth.

Yup lots of useful and interesting stuff around here!
