Fogger coills

I am just wondering how often people rebuild their coils. Specifically, Fogger V5 coils. I used to use 28 gauge wire, but yesterday a friend suggested I try 24 gauge.
I'm currently running 30 watts on an IPV3.

24 will be very very difficult to get in there. I had an extremely difficult time with 26 and then kept getting dry hits. 28 has worked well for me. i have the v4.4 which has the posts that you have to wrap wire around which further complicates things. but still I haven't seen any videos where people are suggesting 24 either. just my internet 2 cents worth.

I got the 24 in there with the push down posts, it was a tight fit. I had problems with 28 gauge snapping after 2 days. It's been about 24 hours, and I am not disappointed. I just wonder how long the coils will last.

I used 28ga with mine. I just don't have the moxy to use 30ga as some have suggested. I think 24ga would be to large to fit in the chimney, could be wrong though.
I hope my build last for a while. I do rotate tanks with 4 Kayfuns and a Squape. Building and wicking the Fogger is not my favorite thing to do. I find it very temperamental. When you get it right, it's great...but if anything is a tad off, then problems ensue.

I have the Fogger 4.4 and only change my coil when I want something new. 28 gauge is what I like and I may use a coil for a month or two (but not all day long).
