Fogger V2 Dual Coil

So I have had my fogger for a while now, not the best piece I'll be honest but I have found that a micro coil with cotton seems to work pretty well. What I am wondering is if anyone has been able to make a dual coil or twisted kanthal set up work in these devices. I wanna try one or the other but I'd like to see if anyone else has been able to make it happen before I got about taking out my current set up.
