Is this normal for the V4? I have three of the V4s and on every one of them the AFC covers the airflow holes when the ring is adjusted full open. See pic.

Cliffnotes: it "covers" the hole, but is tapered on the bottom so it actually is not "covering" the hole. I do not know what it actually looks/performs like, as I removed the ring the minute I got it in the mail and opened it.

I tried it with and without the ring and didn't notice any difference so left mine on for when I use high vg juices .
