IMO, the Fogger, being dual coil is better suited to a mechanical mod, or higher wattage device. So from those options I'd choose a kayfun.

Personally, I think the Fogger 4 is overrated. It's flavor is muted compared to similar style atomizers like the kayfun, Aqua, or Taifun GT.

I have a Kayfun Lite Plus 2 and love it. A tighter draw than I like, but it's adequate for my needs.

I've not used a Fogger 4, but watched someone do a coil build for one. The deck looked like it would be difficult to build on; while the KFL's deck is extremely easy.

I have both. The fogger v4 with its dual coils really needs more power than you have. I use it at .9 ohms and 20 Watts. It doesn't taste any better than my kayfuns at 10 or 11 watts. It just makes more vapor. I really recommend the kayfun.
I guess I just got the fogger v4 to justify buying the dna 30 box. Or was it the other way around?

After buy two Kayfuns, I decided to buy a Fogger v4 this week. I am loving it. It does produce a little more flavor and more clouds. The dual coil is a bit of a pia. I first built it out at 0.9ohms on a DNA30 and was not satisfied with the performance. Then I built it out to 1.8ohm (it was a bit tricky) and it really rocked on the DNA 30. I can run at 30W and not get dry hits...I'm using Japanese cotton. The Fogger does hold alot of juice, about 3ml, and that's good since it can eat juice quickly at the higher wattage.

If I were going to use it on a mech mod, I would probably shoot for 1.1ohm like I do on the Kayfuns. That seems to be the sweet spot on the Kayfun for me.

There are two things I don't like about the fogger. I would like a little more airflow to get a dripper like experience. Dont know why they kept the airhole as small since it has an airflow ring that is easy to adjust. My other complaint is more of an annoyance. The fill hole has a gasket that is a little too big. It make putting it back in annoying. Other than that, I'm happy I bought it.

Is it a Kayfun killer?...No. It's just different. I still love the two Kayfuns I have. I will definitely try one of the other "Kayfun Killers" like the Orchid.

Completely disagree here. I have the clones and authentics of each atty named here and the Fogger 4.1 blows them all away for an RBA.

The only one close for flavor is the Aqua...

Just one mans opinion.

I just got the 4.1 yesterday

Watched a few vids as I hear the chnages have issues that can easily managed

Had no issue building, but if you have the newer 4.1 it seems that wicking placement is different per user suggestions.
I wick it Like I do my KFL bypoulling the wicks up through the chamber(cutting them at Chamber length) and then stuffing the cotton just above the 4 wells
Dual coil at .07, and I like the airflow much better then my KFL, but I find the flavor on the KFL better
I had the same flavor side by side , and the Fogger seemed a bit muted, but worked better at high watts on the IPV2

I'll probably re wick and retry.
KFL - Flavor on KFL better
FOGGER - High wattage use and Draw better

Magma or CLT
Still my preferred options

Fair enough. My Fogger V4 is the initial release that was sold on FT, and I understand some improvements have been made since, so that may be a difference.

However, for my version, I've tried several different builds, from 0.5Ω up to 0.8Ω for use on a mech, all with the same muted flavor. I actually thought I just had vaper's tongue until I filled the same liquid into my Taifun GT and realized that, no, it's just the Fogger.

I love the open draw on it, and the vapor production is outstanding. The flavor is what it lacks for me, and so it has collected dust for a couple of months now.

I have not built it for use on my Cloupor 30w box, so I may try that this weekend.

I got the fogger 4.4 (which is now called 4.1) in stainless a few weeks ago. After I figured out the wicking (which was a little touchy) I fell in love.

I don't know if you have seen it but Yiloong also makes a RBA called the Kaiser. It is much like the Eden Rose (with a ceramic "cup"). You run the leads down through the cup and into deck holes and tighten with Frankenstein screws. It also took some practice but I truly think IT is better than the fogger. It has better air flow control and you can adjust juice control from the drip tip top. Top fill with a beauty ring to cover screw. Interesting design.

I have four "good" Kayfuns —one 3.1 that works perfect, two Lite plus v2 and one Lite plus v2 twin airholes. They are my single coil faves. I don't count two junk $17 Kf31s that I've converted to permanent top filling by plugging the deck juice hole and drilling-threading the top cover.

For twin coils I also have a pair of Foggers 4; one of the second version (first with threaded AFC ring, small deck) and one of the big deck version, first iteration.
Those two are my preferred double coil vacuum tanks. Kayfuns work great between 1.2~1.6Ω. The Foggers are great for lower res values 0.8 to 1.2.

I have other two vacuum feed tanks are an Aga-T7 which is reat in many ways and very versatile but a <female dog> to build. It demands a very precise cross shaped coil/wick configuration of exacting length and thickness or it just doesn't work. Otherwise it's great. Even with the top cap fill hole it's a PITA to refill. You have to place it horizontal with the hole at 12 o'clock and the screw is a micro allen plug. heaven forbids I ever misplace that little Allen key 'cos I won't be able to fill it again, :(

The second of these, and last addition to the vacumm tank collection, is an Erlkönigin wich is -as you are aware- a superb piece of engineering and machining; just like a Swiss watch. It's also par with the Kfs in flavor but not very flexible on coil and wicking styles. Not that it matters as long as the functioning is excellent.

I've only used it once each with silica, ecowool and braided cotton wick. It works perfect with all of them but I keep returning to ordinary drugstore cotton sterile cotton. The tank holds a whooping 6 ml of juice and the wick lasts for three or four tanks. The coil I haven't changed since I hit its sweet spot at 1.0Ω.

FOGGER V4 because it's harder to mess up the build and it's damn easy to do dual coils which IMO work best on these type RTA's. A close second would be the aqua only because the clear tanks on them suck. They are hard to thread on and when you top fill these you really don't want to mess around trying to thread the damn thing on. If you use the metal tank that is not a problem. Just vape until you get a dry hit LOL.
