So I just got this today, and no matter what I do it won't work once it's together. Got my coil in, it fires perfectly until I put the chimney on. Then it says low resistance. Triple checked that my coil isn't touching anything, but still can't figure this out. I'm stumped and it's driving me nuts! Lol. Thanks in advance for any help.

Sounds like you are trying to run it on a regulated mod?

What does it read out for ohms when the collector is not on it?
Allot of regulated mods are set up so they wont fire below 1.2 ohms, and show a low resist. warning if detecting anything below 1.2 or 1.3 ohms.

Although our vamo will still read the ohms if it not being fire,IE, it will read it (.5), but wont fire it once its on the the mod and ready to run.

It's on a sigelei 100w plus, so it should fire down to .15ohms. Without the collector it was .4 ohms. I also put a 1.5ohm coil on it and still wouldn't fire with the chimney on.

What are the ohms when it's fully assembled? Will it fire without the chimney. Really the only thing I can think of is that the coil is touching the chimney even if it doesn't look like it's touching.

Shows 0 on the sigelei when it's fully assembled. Fires fine without the chimney. I'm positive it's not touching. I shined a flashlight into it and I can clearly see space on all sides.

Shoulda got a lemo. Lmao

Does it do it with just the bottom chamber section, or only when you put on the top section?
Try using the screws instead of the push things!
Maybe it's one of the push pins touching the top chamber.

Does it with just the bottom portion too. Pins are still exposed with just that on, so it can't be that theyre touching. Gonna make a smaller coil tomorrow and see what I can figure out. Maybe it's getting pushed against the center post somehow.

It frustrated me enough tonight that I just had to put it back in the box for now. Back to the good ol plume veil again. Lol

Ok. I made another coil. .5 ohms. Out it together, no wick. Fired fine until the bottom portion of the chimney is put on. I'm positive the coil isn't touching anything. Almost looks to me like the chimney is hitting the base of one of the posts.....
