Since this have become the craze, I had to do my take on it.

Credit goes to Cisco (a.k.a.the mini PV mod god), for his never ending stream of handsome looking mods.

This was a personal challenge to find out if I could make any small mods.

Anyway this is a "one of a kind" for me since, I'm into bigger batteries, but I will give it away to a friend that will really use it.

From top to bottom on the pic as usual, my collection of atomizers with respective RCA adapters:

510, 901, 801, 401 and cartomizer (whatever number that is).

Sweet Warp, what battery does that take? I am trying to stay away from unprotected batteries. dammit!

Thank you every one. :)

It takes a 10440 battery same size as a AAA, and they are not protected.

You can only find protected Li-ion batteries on 16340, 14500, 18500 and 18650 sizes and some in between those numbers, but not the smaller ones.

Yeah, that's the problem. So if you use unprotected... what precautions need to be taken? How do I know if it is overdrawn, overcharged....?

Props bro..:D

Cisco...

 Thank you much Cisco, I'm learning slowly to get the polished looks you always been able to achieve.

Figuring out how to recess the RCA jack was kind of hard for me at first, but it was worth the extra thinking. :D

No Problem Warp,

It takes some thinking alright, I typically look aver a modding project for days before I try anything. Putting it down and coming back to it usually sparks new ideas or on the rare occasion when a light bulb goes off...:D

You can not discharge a Li-ion to a dangerous level when used in an e-cig because it needs at least 3.5V to work.

The 10440s actually have a voltage cutoff at 2.7v, but on a battery without that you could indeed discharge a battery to dangerous levels. The resistance wire won't get hot enough to produce vapor at much below 3.2-3.5v, but it will still drain the battery if you keep pushing the button. The 10440s seem pretty damned safe though, I've run em down to the cutoff (2.7v) many times without a hiccup.

Why would anyone keep pushing the button so long to drain the battery down from 3.5 to 2.7 volts after the atomizer is not putting put any vapor? It would take about 1 hour of pushing it to drain it that far down.
