Just going to clear some things up based upon previous statements I've made so I don't mislead new people.

1) The J118 is fantastic, but I've had a few hours with a 510 model (Dura-C) and I have to say I understand why people like it. I like the easier draw of the j118, but it's not as consistent *to me* as the 510. So far, even brand new, new atomizer, factory ry4 cart, I'm getting the exact same user experience with each push of the button. I'm still seeing very similar vapor production between the two, with a slight nod to the 510. YMMV. I think they are both great. Seeing as how Weg discovered that the j118 battery and carts fit the 510 atomiser (And I discovered that the j118 chargers will charge the 510 battery) I say get them both. : )

2) I had whined before because Johnson Creek was taking their sweet time deliverying my liquid. If I had actually bothered to read the front of their page, they set the expectation that your liquid may not ship for 7-8 days until after your order is placed. And sure enough, that's exactly how long it took. And I can say that their tennesee cured and original tobacco flavors are amazing. I wasn't ready for how clean they'd taste. I'm still craving the Hilton from midwest vapor though (which I'm pretty sure is ruyan). As a fan of ridiculously fast turn-around and shipping, I have to say that I'll gladly keep ordering from midwest.

3) On that RY4 cart: WOW. I *get* why people love RY4 so much. It's not quite tobacco, but more of an excellent contrast against it. You couldn't make a cigarette that tastes this good.

4) I like manual switched batteries now. I'm starting to wish there was a manual switch option for the j118. There's some undefinable psychological thrill in pushing the button to inhale.

Also, I wanted to give DigitalCigs props for amazingly fast shipping. I ordered my Dura-C a few days ago and I'm using it right now. Can't really beat that.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Wow, you sure covered a lot of ground! As a noob, thanks for clear explanations about this stuff.

Would you say the Hilton is a strong or light tobacco flavor? Can you compare to brand name analogs you've smoked? I have some coming from Ruyandirect which I ordered blind and have my fingers crossed that it doesn't suck.

The RY4 - is it a caramel-y flavor, or what? I keep seeing raves about it, but not much in the way of descriptions.

Based on your review, I went to the DigitalCigs site. There isn't much info about them there. Where are they shipping from? I sure liked their prices.

Thanks for whatever info you can share about this.

I'd call Hilton (mine's from Eastmall) a medium tobacco, it and 555 are my 2 favorite flavors. I like RY4 as a change of pace but I don't like the sweet stuff and RY4 is on the sweet side for me. It definitely has a caramel taste to it.
Between the variations of the same flavor between vendors, tha variations in individual tastes and the varying amount of distruction of taste buds due to smoking, I think you really have to take liquid reviews with a grain of salt.

No problem.

Honestly, I started out sticking primarily with the "flue" and "tobacco" flavors because I figured that's what I liked based upon my Snus adventures. My favorite snus literally knocks you over with tobacco flavor. Most people in snusville prefer the lemony/peppery crap. However...

I started craving hilton specifically because it was tobacco++. Has medium to strong tobacco flavor, and a hint of candyness too it that I REALLY like. There's lots of this in the snus world, any my theory is it got old there for me because it was this CONSTANT OMNIPRESENT THING because that's the nature of snus, where my e-smoking style is a few short blasts of vapor every so often. That situation lends itself to enjoying something that tickles more tastebuds, at least to me. With the Hilton, I get the tobacco flavor strong and present with this hint of candy. I love it. The RY4 is my "second" flavor specifically so I have a pallet check and don't get sick of the Hilton.

It is ungodly hard to describe. There's this caramel thing, but there's this regular sugar thing, but there's this tobacco thing (not as pronounced as in the Hilton), and this hint of vanilla thing, and this nutty thing. The stuff is just damn amazingly good. Like a really rich fudge though (at least to me), I don't see myself using it nonstop. It's just too damn good to not be too much of a good thing if used constantly. If you are interested, I know puresmoker.com just got more stock in of their "Riskee Yuice" which is "supposed" to be the grandaddy of all the RY4 flavors. I ordered 120ml out of interest.

If I remember, they shipped out of either Ohio or NY. All I know is, I had box in hand three days after placing a late night order. The only other people I've ordered from so far with close or similar turn around have been shawn at litecigusa, and midwest vapor. And to be fair, people have been beating up on JantyUSA a lot lately (for good reason), but I had my shipping confirmation on my Janty Stick a few hours after placing my order, and it in my hands very fast.
