The Panasonic 3400mah battery only has an amp rating of 6.7A. It is NOT a suitable battery for vaping. If you plan to run the pico under 55-60w the LG HG2 (3000mah, 20A) would be a good option for a battery, if you plan to use wattage above 55-60w I would suggest buying a dual battery mod over the pico.

The pico and serpent mini go well together, and I really like both, however I've never tried tiger wire.

I agree with frizzy_tyger above. The Panasonic 18650B 3400mAh battery has an unacceptable amp rating of 6.7 amps, and is not a suitable battery for vaping. This battery was designed for low drain appliations like a flashlight, not the high drain application like an ecig. You'll need a 20 amp battery for an ecig mod.

I recommend the:

I have a stupid question. I have an 18650 flashlight on the way to me from Ebay. Is it bad to use a high drain battery in it like it is bad to use a low drain bat in a mod?

It would be dependent on how many amps the flashlight can draw. It is my understanding most flashlights draw less than 5amps, but you can use a higher amp than it draws with no harm, but you cannot use a lower amp than it draws. However you weight want to use a higher mah battery with low amps for battery life. However I have never owned a 18650 flashlight so my understanding may not be correct.

Thanks Tiger, I ordered it because I thought it would be nice to have because I have so many High drain 20amp batts already for my vaping.

Hi,

I am planning to buy a eleaf pico mod, serpent mini rta and panasonic 3400mah, i'm a beginner when it comes to variable mods and i want to know if this set up can handle omega tiger wire n90 and the battery wire will last 6-8 hours, thanks...
All Depends on the resistance and voltage you LOVE.

I have two Pico's and love them

nope not at all, it's the device that draws the amps not the battery forcing amps into it, what I do is I run my vape batteries to 200 cycles then after that I mark them as flashlight batteries by re-wrapping them so I can tell the difference...

One of my LED flashlights has 7 10w led's (70w total) and requires higher amp draw batteries.

Two_Bears how long is it's battery life?

Telling battery life isnt fair.

Some 18650 batteries have 1,500 mah. Others have 3,000 mah.

I go through 2-3 ml a day. Others here uses 10 times that juice

The resistance of the coils are a factor

The wattage being pushed.

For me the LG HG2 battery lasts me two full days.

Now i vape at .8-.9 ohms at 8-12.5 watts and use 2-3 ml Juice a day.

I use standard round 26 gauge Kanthal.

To illustrate @Two_Bears point of battery life being diffrent being diffrent for everyone I also have the LG HG2 and run arround .8-.9 ohms, but I vape at 16-23 watts use 28g 316 stainless steel and go through 6-8ml of juice and get only one day off a battery.

If you use lower ohms or higher wattage or use more juice you might get less than a day.

Exactly right.

There are many factors determine battery life.

I can get two days but if someone Vapes 25 ml Juice at 60 watts at .4 ohms my LG HG2 battery may only last 3-4 hours.

Oh thanks for your suggestions guys, i have to ask what is the difference between the pico and the vtc mini, i dont know how to compare variable mods,
I have two Pico's and two VTC Mini.

I prefer the Pico.

A. It is more pocket Friendly.
B. The ohm meter is more accurate than the VTC Mini.
C. The Pico is lighter 132.4 grams w battery. VTC Mini 162.1 grams w battery 1 ounce (30.3 grams) lighter
D. Pico better designed. The VTC has the positive end of the battery pointing up. The battery in the Pico positive end facing down. If a battery vents in the pico the gasses will be going away from your face.
