Hi, I am assuming you got the 510 Carto Kit, I think they do have a warmer vape than the disposables, sometimes they sizzle, I had purchased something similar when I started vaping, not a great experience for me. I don't use carts, but many here do, you'll get all the right advice soon enough :) it can be rewarding ;)

Are you using cartridge+ atomizer or cartomizers? Are the cartridges/ cartomizers pre filled or did you fill them your self? What ohms are the attys or cartomizers?

I have just purchased my first rechargeable 510 basic ecig from vapeescape and got the vanilla tabaco flavor ejuice. I find that is it so much hotter than the disposable one. Is this supposed to happen or am I just doing something wrong? There is also a very loud sizzling noise. Please help!

The first fill of a cartomizer is VERY IMPORTANT otherwise filler gets burnt and carto overheats. Key in the vid when pushing carto down into juice is to do it VERY SLOWLY. Also don't allow juice to flood over the top of airway. Also remember, before refilling, to shake the bottle of juice.

Using a cartomizer and I filled it myself. I just know that I'm using a standard resistance one.

If you are getting a burnt taste, it sounds like you aren't keeping the carto topped up enough.

Did you go for the Riva 510 or standard 510 kit? if you got the Riva one, you would have got a drip tip with it to use with the cartos - much more comfortable vaping hot cartos when using a drip tip :)

No I felt immediately comfortable. Is it possible you're chain vaping? That might indicate your nicotine level is too low. Realize there are all diff shapes of drip tips- round and slit/ narrow.

I've got a drip tip. Just doesn't seem natural to me. Anyone else feel this when they first started?

Once you get the hang of things you'll look back and laugh..before I bought my first PV I spent a solid 200+ hrs researching. While I waited for 3 week delivery I researched even more, prolly another 150 hrs. Even with ALL that research I still manged to fry 1 battery and burn out 3 cartos. Taste is subjective and finding the right juice prolly the toughest part of vaping. Ask Chrissie for some suggestions as she's highly regarded here at ECF and has helped countless vapers with her honest and thoughtful advice.

I haven't used it really just feels strange! My battery is not charged yet. Maybe I should have got a normal tabaco flavor one instead of trying the fancy ones  feel like such a newb
