Im 20 days into
vaping, the first 2 days were the hardest for me. Instead of dreams of sugar plums dancing in my head, it was analog cigs. But once I got past the second day and learned better how to get the nic into my system the better it has been. I smoked for 40 years, tryed to quite many times, tried all the FDA approved ways, each time to fail. I'm even certified in teaching people how to get off analogs. Which didnt help me much. In 40 years, 6 months was the longest time smoke free.
For the most part im totally at ease now, that comfortable feeling you get when there is no craving. I start vaping as soon as I get up like I would have with the analog, in all my days routine I vape as if it were the analog so it has taken the place. There are moments when I havent vaped enought or I have been talking about analogs that I get that pang. So yea talking about analogs I guess would be my trigger.
My incentive to stay quit is being able to breath again, not having the nasty smell on me and the big thing is money, it was costing over 400.00 a month between my SO and me. Having that ive never really tasted food my whole adult life that has been the hardest part about this whole thing, getting my taste buds back ive found food that I used to really like im not liking so much anymore.
I am having trouble finding that perfect all day vaping juice, Licorice has been good but not all day. I found that tobacco flavors are horrible tasting and have gone the way of sweet fruit, candy, desert type flavors. So the search continues.
