I bought all the stuff to make the 2 recipes I posted today but after a day of putting up mini blinds for my M-I-L I was too tired to make the blondies...hopefullt tomorrow

I did mix a batch of the Snickerdoodle Coffee instant mix and my first impression is...it's ok. It needs tweaking. For my taste I think I will lessen the cocoa, increase the coffee, increase the vanilla non dairy creamer. Interestingly the allspice works in this mix...I had my doubts. And absolutely increase the cinnamon at least by double.

The original recipe is decent if you aren't expecting it to taste like Snickerdoodle But it's more like a hot cocoa that a coffee mix.

I made the Blondies tonight but I made a couple of changes to the recipe. I left out the nutmeg for 2 reasons...1) I don't care for the spice very much, 2) Snickerdoodles don't have nutmeg in them. The other change I made was I added 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar to give that tiny little acidic acid twang that makes a Snickerdoodle distinct from other sugar cookies With the changes planned ahead of time I proceeded and here's my review.

If you are looking for old fashioned,home made, artery clogging, .... fattening oooie gooey Snickerdoodle goodness... THIS IS IT!!! You will make your neighbors frothing at the mouth rabid crazy with the scent of these baking! Your spouse and kids, the cat and dog will all bow before you begging...I kid you not, these are worth the trouble to make

OMG Y'all are not going to believe this! Over the weekend I received a package in the mail. Thinking it was flavoring I left it in my office until today! HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!! I WAS WRONG!!!!!!

I opened it up and kept opening (many layers) and opening and opening!

LOW AND BEHOLD There it was! The light was shining down! OMG OMG OMG It was Snickerdoodle Bread! I totally hid that sucker! But I had to try first! OMG OMG It was the best bread I have ever tasted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I just could hoard this all for myself! I let the kids and hubby try! Well CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They ate it all in one night. I got 1 yes count it 1 piece of that wonderful bread! LAMOOOOOOOO But that is ok at least my kids loved it! Oh yeah my son's Josh and Pat Thank You from the bottom of their hearts!!!!!!!

Bovinia You are the Best!!!!!!!!!! I will pay you to make me more LAMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

It really is easy to make and anyone who is interested in the recipe just scroll up a couple of posts. If you use the recipe listed, it makes 2 9x5 loaves or 4 smaller ones. I made the 9x5 ones.
