For the RY4 fans...

I finally hit on a blend that tastes, as I'd like to describe it, like a more sophisticated RY4. It's sweet, but not cloying with a distinct tobacco taste, but the vanilla/toasty caramel finish the RY4 lovers enjoy and just a hint of nuttiness in the aftertaste.
Here's my recipe:

for a 30 mL batch of 70/30 12 mg nicotine I mix the following...

7.5 mL 48 mg nicotine 50/50 PG/VG
5.3 mL VG
1 mL Liberty Flights Perique Black (excellent tobacco flavor, very rich, deep and dark)
1 mL Perfumer's Apprentice Toasted Marshmallow (for a toasty, somewhat caramelly flavor)
1 mL Perfumer's Apprentice Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (best vanilla flavor I've run across)
3 drops Liberty Flights Almond Flavor (for nutty notes)
3 drops Liberty Flights Hazelnut Flavor (oh yes, it gets nuttier)
15 drops PG Stevia Extract solution (1/2 tsp pure stevia powder in 5 mL PGA diluted in PG to 20 mL)
5 drops of PGA
Mix all of the above together, then add approximately 12.5 mL PG to make up 30 mL of liquid.

I do hope some adventurous soul enjoys this as much as I do

Update: I switched from PA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream to French Vanilla, slight change in flavor, but very enjoyable.

It's interesting that you are getting a caramel taste when there is no caramel flavoring in the recipe. It must be coming from the Toasted Marshmallow.

I'll try a version of this, substituting F'Art Virginia base (7%) and PA almond and hazelnut.
