30" - yes, that is not a typo - thirty inches ... with drifts much deeper. This is the most snow I have seen come down at one time since, I don't even know when.

I am literally snowed in. They didn't even do one pass of the snow plow on my road until after 3:00pm. The snow was so wet and heavy it broke my satellite dish wires somehow and they can't send a tech until Sunday. At least they can send someone this weekend. At least the power stayed on!

It was piled up that deep or higher against all the doors. I opened the slider to try and let my bigger dog out and there was an avalanche onto my kitchen floor. I couldn't figure out how to close the door... shovel the snow from the floor back outside? Pull more snow in and try to slide the door closed really fast? It was like a comedy show. A freezing cold one - lol

My 3 pound Yorkie got to play in the snow on the kitchen floor! It was a treat for her. I was tossing her tiny snow balls, and she ate them. I am sure I heard her laughing at the poor Brittany because he can't use her puppy pad.

I went outside and tried to shovel a path on the deck. "Tried" being the operative. I sunk into the snow and couldn't move. I felt helpless! I stared at the shovel, cursed under my breath at it, shrugged and tried to pretend that there really wasn't 14 pounds of snow in my boots

Snow up to my thighs! When I sank in and it was past my knees I didn't know how to walk in it. I felt worse for my dog, it's over his head - he has to leap like a Gazelle. At least I got to come back inside to use the bathroom, poor dog. lol

Thank goodness my daughter's boyfriend was able to get here by dinner time and start digging us out. Three hours with the snowblower on the driveway... poor guy.... unlike the dog, we let him back in the house to use the bathroom :)

Please don't pray for anymore snow... We've had enough already :|

I remember those days when I lived in Wyoming. Snow drifts over our roof! The wind blew from the west right down the mountains. The whole house was snowed in..except for the back..one lousy window we could get in and out of. The dog was really confused by going in and out windows to go pee. A white shepard (our first 34 years ago) Lost in the winter. He was in Heaven!

omg MaryKay! lol! It's not quite that bad - *but* it's one of the worst winters I can remember since I've lived on top of this mountain! (ok, little mountain - but it really is a mountain!!)

I wish I was in Florida right now! I have family down there - I talk to them frequently, they have NO conception of winter anymore. Yesterday, a conversation went like this:

"Mom, I'm snowed in, we have over 2 feet of snow already and it's still coming down, I can't even see outside"

"Oh, we had such a rain storm! It got so windy! It got a little chilly the other night, I think it was in the 60's!!."

"Oh, hrrm... That rain was something! The sun came out..."

"MAH!! HELP - Send search and rescue if you don't hear from me in a few days, no one can come clear the driveway they didn't plow the roads yet..."

"Is it that bad?"

"Nahh, it's peachy Mom, I'm loving being without TV because the satellite dish is hosed, If the power goes out, that will ROCK!!!. Snow up to my thighs is awesome... the dog is going to poop in the dining room any minute because the snow is over his head already... how funny will that be! hahaha"

"Oh it's so nice down here, you should come down ..."

"I'll talk to ya later mah... have fun out to lunch with your friends... "

23 years in South Florida can really ruin someone's perception of bad weather...

I hate all the snow..

Your beloved governor needs to be shot in his @... for going to Florida, leaving you in that mess along with all the other garbage he is doing to you...

I'm in the Poconos, so I know how you are getting hit this winter...

Hi Angel! Long time and all that jazz.
We have been in the 30's and 40's at nite. My feet hate it. But days are nice in the 50's 60's and 70's.

HiHi Mary Kay!!!!

(((((((((((((((((((((((Big Hugeroos))))))))))))))))))))

You must be wearing a snuggie while watching tv at night.... That's cold for you...
I plan on robbing a bank within the next few years so I can afford to move to Florida
