Is there any way that you are starting a referral program? In addition, do you ever need anyone to hold vaping parties and sell from home so that people are able to see and try? It would be a great program and I for one would be extremely interested in hosting V4L gatherings for people to try/buy from my home!
Such a fun and cool thing to get people into!

The referral program has come up a lot, but there always seems to be the issue of personal gain tarnishing the referral. I know that I along with others have referred V4L and have been asked, "So are you getting anything out of this?". If the answer is no, then I am obviously sincere about the referral. If the answer is yes, then perhaps people might think that I am only trying to get them to try V4L for my own personal gain or it's a type of Pyramid scheme.

For me, the jury is still is out as to whether it's a + or - should such a program exist. Other less reputable companies do have such programs, I do know that several of the veterans here are very against a referral program.

There is wholesale pricing with volume purchasing and an affiliate program. You could always try hosting a party and pooling an order together, then use your family discount during a sale as your margin.

Tell me more about the wholesale pring or direct me to a location to read more. I am truly interested, not for personal gain neccessarily(I am lucky to be a SAHM and not have to worry about working right now, just volunteering) I just talk to so many people..mainly in these small towns around here that are so very interested, but want to try it or know more etc. Just think it might be beneficial to gather up the masses at one time, host a party, then offer various flavors, strengths etc. However, the cost of doing this all on my dime is not something I think my husband would approve of

You'll have to contact Customer Service for more details.

My :2c:

Not to discourage you, as I think hooking people up is a great thing. But it has been my experience that e-cigs are a great conversation piece, but a hard sell, as potential customers have to be of the "I really don't want to smoke anymore" mindset. But I do love the idea of hosting such a party and see some potential in it.

Great thread - Thanks Snow for steppin' in.

Hey GOW, PM me and we can talk all about our wholesale model.

As for parties... I come from a 11 year career in supporting the "party plan" for major companies in the industry and while the "party" concept is a great one for just selling - there is a WHOLE other side to "Direct Selling" than meets the eye. We have entertained the notions of starting a true MLM/Party Plan channel for V4L - it's just a TON of work to set up properly. Right now our focus is on Supply Chain - and getting you all the very best products on the market.

I do have ideas on how we could approach "Home Parties" - I just need to find the time to develop a catalog. If we had a Catalog, you could have a sampler pack with 5-10 batteries and 10-20 sample carts - guests would pre-pay and order right there. That is mostly how Party Plan works anyway. (Lia Sophia, Pampered Chef, Avon, Stella and Dot, PartyLite, etc. etc. etc.). Then the host could either make commission as an affiliate, or get host rewards in the form of products for themselves. It's a great model, and lots of fun - an AWESOME way to spread the V4L name as well. This way nobody has to carry inventory, and the guests will get the goodies literally days later directly from V4L. Let's just say its on our radar to get this going - I just need to clone myself :)

Thanks again for the commentary, and ideas.

Completely thorough answer! Thanks Dave. I was just wondering(as vaping is a new passion) if there was a more direct way to gather people and show them how much this could benefit them. I am very interested in joining up with that if ever you get cloned;) Don't forget me!
I mean the shipping is fast, customer service is great, so all I need is a PP presentation and some real life variety packs(in large quantities) to entice people that this IS the way to go! My mother asked the other day if you guys were paying me to ramble() on like I do, but honestly it is easy to ramble on about such an amazing company that follows through and keeps customers in the loop. I can say that there are very few businesses like V4L out there.

The referral program is great as my aunt, my mother and father, and a couple strangers have already ordered on 'my behalf' so to speak. My aunt who was the 2+ PAD smoker has not smoked in 3 weeks...though she did try one yesterday. She said she coughed and brushed her teeth and tried to eat some taffy to get the smell off...it was horrid!
Good to know it is on its way though!

Again, Avon, Pampered Chef, etc...are not things that interest me, nor do I believe they are 'great products' (just my opinion) I would just be in heaven if I could help to sell something that I truly believe in!
Must be a great job Dave :)
