Hello everybody! Just wanted to say hi. I just got into vaping 6 months back! I went from MVP 2.0 /aerotank to stick 50w/ KANGER SUBTANK! I have had so much great help in building coils etc.. from this forum I decided to join and will be posting whatever I can offer from my limited knowledge of coil building, DIY juice etc.. Thanks for reading!

Welcome to ECF Rhymesayers! I've been a friend of Bill W for a bit more than 22 yrs, and there are a good many of us around here. Your experience with that should be fairly helpful with quitting smoking, at least it was for me. I always figured quitting the smokes would be the hardest one, but thanks to e-cigs it's turned out to be the easiest. :D

Welcome! :thumb:

Hey Rhymesayers! I can completely relate to you :) I was a drug addict about 5 years ago and went cold turkey on everything! I did take up smoking but over a year ago decided to stop everything (including alcohol) and start my vaping journey. Congratulations on quitting and starting a happier, healthier life.. its not easy, but its well worth it!

I have been a friend of Bill W for a little over 30 years--but I couldn't seem to kick the smokes.
Been smoke free now going on 6 weeks and though she may not know it Andria has been a big help to me.
Thank You

That's great, and I'm really glad! It may not be *exactly* like "the way to keep it is to give it away" as in 12 step groups, but in 12 step groups we do learn that sharing "how it works" with newcomers is a wonderful thing. Reading here is how I was able to learn "how to vape" so it could work for me -- after 39 yrs of smoking, I thought I knew ALL about "inhaling," but it really does work differently with vaping, than with smoking. I came here because all those drugstore cigalikes were so awful, so I'm absolutely 100% certain that vaping could not have worked for me, without ECF!

Andria a few weeks ago you reminded me of HALT. Thank you!! It comes in handy a few times a day at first, now I'm almost two months in.
I grew up with my grandfather as a friend of bill W for as many years as the day I was born. He was an awesome man. My dad did a short run and I was in the teen program. I wish everyday he would try again. Without the knowledge I gained as a teen and a young adult I would have taken a different path. It works and you can have a fulfilling life again. What I have today I wouldn't give up for anyone or anything.

Everyone congrats on your milestones! You are worth it!

Welcome aboard Rhymsayers. I'm not a particularly big fan of Bill W., but it that's what got you, and keeps you, clean... GREAT!

Hello Rymesayers and welcome to ECF. Congrats on remaining clean and also for being off of the analogs. I have been a friend of Bill W going on 29 years. Although I have been vaping for around a year and a half, I have only been analog free since the middle of last week. I switched from an eGo kit to an itaste VTR. It has an iclear 30s tank and I was told that they (my local B&M) wouldn't be able to get replacement coils for it. I upgraded to a Nautilus Mini and love it so much I picked up a Nautilus for my spare box mod, a SMOK XPro M65. Yes, I have been having a lot of fun buying different vaping toys. I have also been having a lot of fun meeting new friends in the vaping community. Have a good day and keep on vaping!
