Former hookah smokers?

I know vaping is widely used to quit smoking cigarettes, and congrats to all of you who have done so! Are any of you former or current hookah smokers though? I smoked hookah for about 6 years, and quit in April 2012. I started vaping because I miss the taste and the motion of smoking, but didn't want the actual smoke. It's a lot less messy and complicated as well (I still have a thin layer of charcoal dust all over everything ).

Me! Though I never had a chance to actually buy my own hookah. I mostly did it with friends or at hookah lounges. I enjoy the social nature of hookah, but yes...it can be very involving. vaping is so much simpler.

I've seen e-hookahs for sale, but they're wicked expensive (about a grand).

Have you seen this one? e-Hookah Starter Kit looks interesting but the refills are pricey. But a good way to still use the actual hookah and enjoy the social aspect of using in your home when friends come over.

Ah, that one looks a little more affordable. When I first got into vaping, I would thing that an e-Hookah would be more popular. Give it time...give it time.

Holy crap!!! The only thing dubbed an e hookah I'd seen was this: E-Hookahs & E-Cigarettes - Electronic Hookah Pens at Hookah-Shisha.com I figured an actual more hookah-esque e-hookah did exist, but that thing is awesome. Probably shouldn't have looked at it... haha

I still smoke hookah for the socializing. As for the smoking experience alone, my setups are more than enough to compensate.

I used to enjoy the hookah. I had my own until I dropped in in the driveway and shattered the little pumpkin I had been putting off getting a replacement for a while when my husband told me about a coworker who vapes. That was when I realized that I found my perfect replacement. I am in love with vapeing now.
