Hi everyone,

I'm not really a vaper at all yet. I recently quit cigarettes, am interested in analogs (in the drug sense, not the "not e-cigarette" sense). I have been getting by on american smokeless products so far, and I bought a hookah and some hookah smokes. Orals are satisfactory, but I want to go from dip to snus and vape. I know a lot of you are former smokers, so what are my options?

Hi and welcome to ecf! I'm not really sure what you are asking.

Are you interested in electronic cigarettes at all?

For snus recommendations you can check out the smokeless tobacco board: Smokeless tobacco

You will need 5 posts on the newbie board to be able to post there, but before that you can at least check it out and read threads there.

Good luck!

Trying to get this thread back on track. The OP is asking what his options are not about smokeless products.

Hobomatic, your options are nearly endless with more coming every day. We can help you narrow things down but, eventually you'll have to dive in and try something. So what are you looking for? If you just want to try something to see if there's anything worth pursuing, run down the nearest Walgreens and pick up a Blu disposable for less than $10. You might also look at a mistic at Wal-Mart. Keep in mind that neither of these are anything approaching the best but, they'll give you an idea.

If you're to the point that you know you want to pursue it, you have to make some decisions. We know what you want. You want something that looks like a cigarette, runs all day on a charge, only needs refilling every day or two and consistently generates tons of vapor. That doesn't exist at any price. So, you need to decide what's really important. Is cigarette sized really important to you? How much money are you willing to spend to start? Also there are a lot of charlatans out there selling $60 kits for $300+. They'll say the have the one true cigarette replacement. They don't.

Next you need to accept that you have a bit of a learning curve. You can get off anytime you're satisfied but, there are some things you just have to learn. It'll pay off but, there's some trial an error. We can help keep that to a minimum but, we can't pick flavors for you. We can't know what nic level is going to work for you and knowing what and how much you smoked won't tell us. We can tell you that cartos run dry and can flood but, until you experience it, you won't know what we're talking about.

Welcome to the forum!!! The people on here won't steer you wrong.
