Sweet Jesus!

Normally I'd say that new retail products carry a high markup, and part of this high markup is to cover the expense of untexted markets, but sweet Jesus! $80 for a battery?!?!? $120 for a Battery?!?!

I ..... about a $25 battery, a $25 900mah battery not being as fantastic a deal as, let's say, a Riva 510 kit under $40.

I got the Travel Kit from V2cigs. Two 4.2v extended 350ma batteries. A notbook cig that plugs into your computer so u can vape all day without batteries, wall and auto adapters, USB plug adapter, a portable case that charges on the go. (case says it will charge a battery up to 5x's before it needs to be charged itself) and 15 pre-filled cartomisers. You can pick shorty, regular, or long battery styles, along with auto/manual, and led color (red or blue) at no extra charge. I recomend the long 350ma manual batteries. They will charge in case, but are too big to close the case. The kit runs for about $100 bucks and i have a 15% coupon. ;-)

Really? Cuz I read there reviews and the sucked at first, then they had a complete turn around. They got new batteries from a new vendor and they reviews after April were all positive. I haven't had any problems. My auto adapter was backordered.... 4 days later it was in my mailbox. Seems like it vapes anything i put into it. Especially since I started using Vermillion River juice. I can blow rings on the exhale.

I know mods and stuff are out there. I saw some stuff from Wicked that looked pretty cool. Overall my personal experience with V2 has been good. BUT I am always willing to learn more.

What happened with you? Can you link to the ECF for me?

I have a funny story about White Cloud E-Cigs...they saved my life. :toast:

Well, in a way...:p

I was on a call for my co. and met this woman who was vaping a WC.
After conducting the business I was there for, I asked her about the whole E-Cig 'thing'.

We must have talked for a good hour, and she explained to me what she could about E-Cigs to me and let me try hers (one single vape and I was sold, stone cold serious).
The ProVari and the Darwin are currently kind of the Cadillac models
She told me she had found that WC was sort of the 'cadillac' of E-Cigs.

I ALMOST ORDERED A KIT. Then, being the researcher I am, went home and 'web'd the whole E-Cig thing, and I came up with GreenSmoke and thought quite handsomely of myself that I had found such a better deal.
I ordered the GreenSmoke kit.
Then I found some of the E-Cig forums that same night and read some posts about these re-labeling companies and was recommended to cancel the order immediately, which I did.

I was given some excellent advice to buy one of the E-Power kits from Stormy's Vapor Cellar instead which I did and am vaping on my E-Power right now for....jeebus...less than 1/5th the price?
E Power 14650 Starter Kit : Stormys Vapor Cellar, Electronic Cigarettes & More

I LOVE the E-Power, great clouds of vapor w/ the clear Smoke Tech dual coil cartos...I can't figure out why I don't hear more about it, I believe it's a ramped-up Ego kit w/ bigger batts.

ANYWAY, that's how White Cloud saved my life, that's how I really found out about E-Cigs and vaping and was able to completely give up analogs by a wonderful woman who routinely buys those pre-packaged White Cloud cartos.

The day I got my E-power in the mail I dropped the analogs immediately and have been analog-free since. I could barely wait for that thing to arrive, I was soooo ready to let go.

Thanks White Cloud!

I don't want to promote a company that is screwing people over. I had a great experience so for, and i am in love with vaping. 2.5months analog free

I have to admit, I'm kind of skeptical on these V2 guys. However, they do include 25 cartomizers with their $89.95 kit, and sell them $10/5. That means $40 for two batteries, a charger, wall charger. This isn't a ripoff. Their lesser kits are a tad dear, and their $30/battery is on par with the likes of GreenSmoke. There are better deals for good quality goods.

Well, I cant verify the 4.2v. But they vape waaaaaay better that the generic rechargable I started with. But have been using for 2 months now, everything works wonderfully. So I don't have the experience to compare with other brands, but like I said they changed battery vendor. Who knows, maybe I was lucky.

Well, they no longer have that starter kit that was advertised. Guess it was a promo. It's $290 for a starter kit with 3 batteries, 5 cartridges, and charger (AC+USB). Their other Cirrus 1 and 2 don't include wall chargers, at $190 & $240 respectively.

No battery is worth $90, let alone $120! Sorry! That screams scam. They "might" be non standard, maybe 4.2v, maybe slightly less than 280mAh to function in the shorter size, but there is no objective reason to spend $90 on a battery this size.

$4/cartridge is a little extreme. Maybe it's a really cool design, maybe they've got great flavors. Maybe it's got "great vapor" but from what I can see in the reviews, it looks subpar to any generic 808. It's hard to tell since no one compared it to other known products.

But given 300 recharge cycles, presuming 900mAh consumption, we're talking 90c/day or $27/month for the battery, plus $4.00, you're really running the risk of spending more for WC than real cigs. You can get more millage with dripping, but still.

I have an ego 510, a tank and a volt.
Volt is my go to, all day vape. the ego is messy. It's doable, but it just isn't for me. It's big, and isn't comfortable to hold. The big turn off for me was the button thing. I just don't like having to push a button. I refill the volt carts when I want to, and when they begin to get old I trash them. They're less than $10 for 5, so I don't worry about cleaning them. I have heard about 808's burning, and I have taken mine apart and looked and after a couple of weeks, nothing. No burn, nothing.
