Forum Moderators font color?

just curious......

at the bottom of each forum, there's a box that shows the moderators in a particular forum.

Each moderator's name varies in font color (i.e. - some are in red or blue or green, etc.)

Do the font colors indicate a particular meaning, like who is on-line or something? Or might they be simply for easier reading?

again, just curious...been meaning to ask this for a while.


EDIT: also, another question I've been meaning to ask.....Does my ECF status ' "super" member' make it possible to post a larger avatar? If yes, why am I getting a "file too large" error msg when trying to update my avatar @ a very slightly larger size AND under the max. file size allowed?? (...it's an upload vs a link to graphic, ITH)

The moderator colors are according to title designation

Green = moderator
Teal = Super Moderator
Red = Admin
Roly = ??????

You can post a larger avatar if you are a supporting member

Members can have an avatar that is 150x150 in size. Subscribing members can have a 200x200 avatar. If you are trying to load an avatar picture that is 150x150 or less, you may want to try and reduce the file size. It may be a tad too large.

Rolygate and Alex use royal blue. Social group moderators don't have a special color, their color is based on their forum status, regular member - blue, supporting member - purple, ECF Veteran - burgundy.

A question for Angus. Can an ECF veteran who is also a supporting member, have a choice of purple or burgundy for their name ?? I'm thinking about requesting the burgundy, when I become a veteran in a few weeks, if that's possible. I will be renewing my supporting membership.

Yes, once you become a vet, you will be able to choose in your UserCP.

Hi El, actually they don't, I checked it out and "moved on" ex-members are regular member blue.

Anyone who wants to ban me, has to clear it with Lu first. lol.
